A winner for sure. Staff is friendly and there's on site bar and restaurant that were both good. The views are amazing and the ocean rocks are accessible right in front of the property (I LOVE to walk on the granite boulders). Those are some of the "nice" parts. The "but"

Hi there - thank you for writing to us! That's so great that you enjoyed the charm of our property, along with the views of the ocean and the Atlantic Footpath walkway along the rocks. Our historic rooms are definitely a different feel than our Pigeon Cove rooms on the new side of the building and so please let us know when you look to make your next reservation that you would prefer a Pigeon Cove room instead and we'll be happy to accommodate that for you. I love the idea of having a fireplace in our Parlor, maybe that will be in the future for us one day! Take care and we look forward to your next stay with us.

Loved, Loved, Loved this hotel! Book a room overlooking the ocean as the sunrises and views are spectacular - we were mesmerized by the natural beauty and deliberately awakened early to enjoy the unfolding displays from our room (could watch it from our bed). In addition, this

I wish we had known in advance that Emerson Inn has no elevator. I am handicapped and use a walker. I am able to do stairs if I have a railing, but it is not an easy process. The staff was very sensitive to this and kindly moved us from the third floor the second. They also were

Hi David - We're sorry to hear about the trouble you had with the stairs at our property. Being a historic, older property, we do not have an elevator, however we do have two rooms on our first level that are handicap friendly, and so when you look to stay with us again, please ask our Front Desk Team to secure you one of those rooms. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay otherwise and of course if you need anything at all to make your stay with us more comfortable, please let us know how we can assist. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

We stayed 1 night at the Emerson Inn. Beautiful place, Porch in front reminds me of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Wonderful breakfast the next morning included in the stay. A little cool that day to use the pool, but everything is well maintained and we enjoyed our time

Hi! Apologies for the late reply! The property is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately all bathrooms at the property are shower/tub combinations, not a true "step in shower". Hope this helps!

does pool stay open much later than Labor Day?
It depends on the weather, I suspect. May be open for ice skating.
