BB&B de Heul in Oostzaan has two spacious rooms of 25 m². They each have their own entrance (key box available), a beautiful box spring of 160 cm by 200 cm, and are also equipped with a private, luxurious bathroom with toilet, shower, sink and toiletries. When it's cold, the underfloor heating is a nice addition. Air conditioning and a pantry with a fridge, Nespresso and tea making facilities, smart TV, wifi and wired internet. Parking is free on our own property, bicycle rental and a garden only for guests.

The combination of genuine hospitality from our hostess Saskia, the lovely comfortable double bed and clean accommodation, and the truly excellent breakfasts made this a memorable stay in a quiet, countryside B&B, which is nevertheless located quite close to Amsterdam. A bus service to the city is available in the village. The location is ideal for cycling (regular as well as e-bikes are available for hire at the B&B) and there are plenty of routes on offer. We cycled to Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam and Monnickendam. Walking is also an alternative, as well as horse-riding, which seemed popular. For evening meals we cycled to a local restaurant, which offered a good selection of meals and drinks, and it overlooked a beautiful lake.

Een geweldig mooie locatie nabij recreatie gebied 't Twiske. De kamer zijn nieuw en voorzien van een goed bed en zitje met tv en een klein keuken blok. Ontbijt is uitstekend en ruim voldoende. Beschikt over eigen parkeerplaat op terrein achter een toegang hek/poort. Je auto staat dus veilig op terrein. Vanuiit deze locatie kan je gemakkelijk het recreatie gebied in en een fiets en/of wandel route fietsen of lopen. Dagje naar Amsterdam is zo te doen je zit zo op de ringweg. De gastvrouw en heer doen alles om je verblijf aangenaam te maken. Schroom vooral niet te vragen en ze zullen dit proberen zo goed mogelijk te vervullen. Vraag ook tips voor restaurants etc in Oostzaan. Ze hebben zelfs e-bikes en fietsen te leen. (ik had m'n eigen fiets mee) maar mochten er gasten zijn die dit niet mee kunnen nemen met hun auto vraag hierna.
