My stay at Alderwood B&B was wonderful. The Ablesons are terrific hosts. The room itself was comfortable, the room was clean, orderly, and the bathroom was also clean and supplied all necessary amenities. The highlight of the stay was Myra's wonderful home cooked breakfast, and the chance to visit around the breakfast table at a leisurely pace. Myra's paintings also...

Betsy, we loved your visit with us, and so appreciated all you had to share about Jerusalem and the work you do there. We're happy you have family here so we can look forward to seeing you when next you come to visit. In the meantime, all the best to you. Myra & Richard

I stayed a couple of weeks ago in this beautiful house, hosted by the charming Myra & Richard. Everything was just perfect !!!! Even before i arrived Myra's communications lead me to believe that I had found a rarity, a caring host . Alderwood is the most delightful house in wooded & quiet surroundings (well apart from the wonderful concert...

And to add to the perfection was you, Brigitte! Thank you so much for the wonderful comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and our breakfast time as much as we did! And thank you too for sending the photo of the actual proposal . . . . we wish your son and future daughter-in-law a marriage full of...

We have enjoyed having you and Be stay with us over the last few years beginning with Orientation all the way through to graduation. We have also loved learning about Singapore and its development since we were there 15 years ago. It's been especially wonderful getting you know your family during Katia's special years here! We look forward to your...

Ditto all those other excellent reviews! Myra and Richard manage to be at once gracious, elegant and down to earth. Each morning they serve up a delicious and healthy breakfast along with warm, witty and often hilarious conversation. They were helpful and available yet unobtrusive and were genuinely concerned about my needs and wants. Alderwood is set into the wooded...

And we enjoyed your company equally. It was a pleasure getting to know you and a very special treat to learn about your artistic endeavors and see your beautiful paintings. We look forward to welcoming you back to Alderwood.

The Alderwood B&B couldn't be a more peaceful, inviting, and enjoyable place to stay. After searching online for the right spot, I contacted Myra about a three night stay with my boyfriend. From the start she was kind and accommodating, and I booked our nights with ease. Upon arrival, the beautiful wood home was tucked away into a quaint neighborhood...

My husband and I stayed at Alderwood B&B for two nights. Myra and Richard were absolutely lovely hosts. They made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. The room was very comfy and quiet, so we slept quite well. We were treated to very filling and tasty breakfasts each morning (pancakes, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit), and we enjoyed our...

My husband, younger son, and I stayed here in May for my older son's graduation from Boston College grad school. Myra and Richard were so warm and accomodating. My husband has a few dietary restrictions, which Myra had no trouble working around. The breakfasts were all wonderful and we didn't ever need lunch! But the thing I enjoyed the most...

My sister and I were on a 10 day journey to see as many B&Bs as we could for my newly opened B&B. We came on a bad weekend with no reservations (had to change our schedule for the hurricanes), a regatta in town, no cell service, tourist office was closed and only 4 names of B&Bs in the area...

We spent six nights at this lovely bed and breakfast close to Boston College in beautiful Newton. Myra and Richard could not have been more welcoming or kinder to us weary travelers. Their home is surrounded by trees and is quiet and peaceful. Richard picked us up at the local T station which is a 12 minute walk from their...

I went to the big city, a woman with two children, to bring my teenage son to football camp at Boston College. Being from the "mountains", I was apprehensive about traveling overnight into a metropolitan area, but Richard and Myra immediately made us feel at home. The house is lovely, the bedding and towels top notch, and my children and...
