My husband & I took a 1 night getaway to Newburyport, had never stayed at The Garrison Hotel but looked good & price was reasonable. The location was fabulous, walking distance to just about everything. Parking is tight but there is another lot across the street which makes it easier, we were even able to leave our car there for...

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was located in the center of town allowing us to walk where ever we went and not having to worry about parking. Very close to all shops and the water front. Our room was a corner room, decorated very modern with a king bed that even had a silver tray with a silver ice...

Great location to stroll and shop during the day, then wine and dine in the evening. Lots of fun to grab a night cap in David's Tavern and listen to live music. Take the elevator from there up to your very comfortable room, grab a plush guest bath robe and rest your head at night. Wake up to a delicious...

Stayed here for one night while visiting Newburyport. The hotel is in great location - within short walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, etc. We stayed in a king corner studio which was quite spacious. The room was a mix of modern furnishings and period details. We liked the exposed brick and wall details, but the bed was unfortunately not...

This Inn is outstanding, for comfort, afternoon tea, exceptional breakfast, peace and quiet, great service and location. The room looks very modern with brand new furnishings. We would stay there again!

I use the Garrison for WORK and family stays in town. On several occasions the hotel has changed the people I have put up there for cancelations regardless of the inns policy. I continue to have to follow up and demand the charges be reversed. This is unfortunate because the inn is located central to great restaurants, attractions and the...

Get-away weekend to relax. As always the Garrison staff was delightful and the inn was top notch. Corner studio had more than enough room for two plus our large dog. Great breakfast in the morning and the location can't be beat. We will definitely be back.

Overall we had a great stay at the Garrison. Our room was larger than I expected and I lived the exposed brick. The AC didn't seem very effective on a humid day outside. The bathroom was a bit dated. But minor complaints really. We loved the stylish vintage decor throughout the hotel and excellent breakfast included in the price. Plus...

On a last minute drive over the holiday weekend we thought Newburyport would be fun & romantic...the Garrison Inn had a "studio" available . The room was great -small but really fine - we were so impressed at how clean the room was and it had a funky fun vibe. Breakfast was yummy and the staff very friendly & helpful!...

In the heart of Newburyport, the Garrison Inn is different in a good way. We stayed in room 405, a double-decker suite (the junior suite). The bottom room had a king bed and TV and the top half (loft) had two twins (and no TV if I recall). A spiral iron staircase took you to the loft. The loft was...
