For those people looking for something off the beaten path, we would highly recommend The Seagull Inn on Marblehead. The area feels rather exclusive, yet comfortable. My husband and I and two children (11 and 8) stayed four nights. We stayed in the Seabreeze, and it was perfect for us, especially with the twin room down the hall. The deluxe...

The owners, Skip and Ruth, are wonderful people. They were very welcoming when we first got there. We were offered wine and a beer and then we spent some time chatting. Our room was very cozy and private. Try the "library suite" if you can. The rooms have comfy beds, snacks are provided and the bathroom was very clean. The...

Kimberly and I loved our stay at the friendly Seagull: Skip met us with a glass of wine and (for me) a Manhattan (a great one, too). Guests are made immediately to feel part of the family. The location is stunning, on a hill across the harbor from Marblehead proper amidst gorgeous houses in a nice neighborhood. Good damage-free on-street...

I am writing this review from an adirondack chair situated on the Seagull Inn's property. My husband and I got married May 18th and decided to do our "official" honeymoon in September (Disney). However we wanted to go away for 2-3 nights after the wedding day. He wanted it to be a surprise for me so I had no idea...

The Seagull Inn, Marblehead, MA was the most enjoyable accommodations I have ever experienced. From the moment we walked up through the lovely front lawn, and were greeted by the proprietors, Ruth and Skip, we were pampered. After Skip asking if he could help, he offered us a glass of wine… then we were shown around the property … Our...

We stayed at the Seagull Inn in the Seabreeze suite for a few days this week and it was fantastic. From the moment you arrive Skip and Ruth great you with great smiles and warmth. Everything is wonderful to every last detail: from the breakfast to the snacks offered in the suite. It is charming, cozy, and you feel right...

We just returned from a visit to Boston, MA the week of the Boston Marathon 2013. We were renting an apartment on Newbury Street, just over from the explosion and due to the events, we were suddenly displaced. In an effort to make the best of a touch situation and see another area of Massachusetts, we searched the internet for...

We just spent a lovely, relaxing weekend at the Seagull Inn in Marblehead, MA , where we stayed in their two-room suite. The inn is lovingly furnished, and our comfort seemed to have been of the utmost importance to Ruth & Skip Sigler, our hosts. There were so many special touches, from snacks and a stocked mini-fridge to an extensive...

We stayed in the Library Suite which had it's own private bathroom with plenty of fresh towels. The bed and sheets were SUPER comfortable. Buffet-style breakfast was good, had a great variety (loved the lox). The B&B is in a great location- outside of Salem but close enough. The owners, Skip and Ruth were a little on the chatty side,...

My family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 8 & 10), and my mother enjoyed our stay at the Seagull Inn thoroughly. This was my mother's first time staying at a B&B and she was a bit concerned as she prefers fancy hotels. Nevertheless she had a fantastic experience. After leaving the Seagull Inn and moving to a nondescript...
