Service was extraordinary. Staff nearly well trained, what one would expect of the fine hotels in Switzerland or the French Riveria. wonderful food and the setting was magnificent, A mere stroll to the summer concerts. some of the rooms are small but one has a wide choice of accommodations

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing. This was our second stay. The food wasn't as good as I remember it being. Dinner was just okay and breakfast the same. The cost was $1700.00. Not worth the price.

I am in the hospitality business and have stayed in some of the most highly rated hotel in several continents including Europe. As we live in MA I am so happy this place is close by. It is like going on a European vacation without ever leaving our home state. We have been returning to this hotel for 14 years...

It is our second visit in three years. Wheatleigh remains the prized gem nestled in the Berkshires. The venue alone carries the day. But additionally, Jeffrey Thompson, the chef and his three collaborators produce magnificent dishes to complement your visit. The staff is very supportive and attentive making the stay as pleasant as the home away from home.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at Wheatleigh in early December. Though winter may not be the best time to visit the Berkshires, the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The suite that we booked was absolutely breathtaking, with a small private terrace overlooking the grounds, and a wonderful bathroom with a deep soaking tub....

On our first summer back in New England, having lived away for many years, we wanted the ultimate Berkshire experience. Wheatleigh delivered in every possible way. The property has an old world feel without being stuffy. Each staff person we encountered was friendly, engaging and had helpful suggestions for things to do. We had dinner in the Library one night...

The attention of the staff here is second to none. A very high end hotel but with an informal feel to the experience. Though the fine dining restaurant is expensive it is a fantastic experience and we enjoyed an excellent meal there. The second night we ate in their Library. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Heartily recommend a...

We returned to Wheatleigh to celebrate a birthday after a long absence resulting from some differences with the management about the charges for water. First, I am pleased to say that Wheatleigh now posts the cost of bottled water on its menu and that you can request water with confidence that you won't be charged by the glass unless you...
