The Rookwood Inn has excellent staff. Jen and Kati were a delight. We went in the middle of March. There's not a lot to do but we were excited to get away. I choose one of the most expensive rooms which had with a fireplace that, unfortunately, we couldn't use it due to the high winds. Jen and Kati offered...

The Rookwood Inn is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy historic Lenox, Massachusetts. Ms. Amy and her staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you for a perfect romantic getaway! We look forward to returning very soon. Robin & Tom Butler

A very last minute trip to Massachusetts mid-July, require a quick search for a nice spot to sleep. We were grateful to end up at the Rookwood Inn. A charming, exceptionally clean Inn that is walking distance to downtown Lenox, Ma. It was our first time to the area and we had no idea what to expect. The Inn is...

Dear Naomi, We are thrilled you found availability at The Rookwood this past summer! What nice serendipity that we had availability. We really appreciate that you appreciated the cleanliness that the staff work so hard to achieve (difficult in older homes in the country 😊). I am also very pleased that my employee, Kali, was both helpful and informative about...

We arrived at the Inn and discovered the room we had selected had no TV. Normally we'd be thrilled but the Red Sox were playing the Orioles in a tight race and we wanted to watch. No problem...they gave us a complimentary upgrade! That was the start of a wonderful 3 day stay. The inn is lovely, very comfortable and...

Our weekend stay at the Rookwood Inn, could not of been better from the moment the door is opened to welcome you. Amy is truly the most helpful Innkeeper, with an adorable backup assistant named Kali ............what a team. Amy understands the needs of the traveler. A refrigerator to keep your wine chilled and your picnic fresh. We had wine...

Our four day stay at the Rookwood this August was very pleasant and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, and the staff is responsive. The location can't be beat, a block from the downtown Lenox area. We walked to the Shakespeare Theater and Tanglewood. We really appreciated that the staff mailed some article of clothing we had left behind. We would...

We stayed in the smallest room they have on the first floor. A great room and very quiet. However, the bathroom left a lot of room for improvement. It was very dark. I asked for a brighter light bulb, which was provided immediately. However it was still too dark for putting on makeup and it was very claustrophobic. The ceiling...

Just got back from another fantastic trip to the Rookwood Inn in the beautiful Berkshires. We have been coming back to the Rookwood for at least eight years in a row. The inn is beautiful on both the outside and inside. The staff could not possibly be more welcoming, and we keep returning because it feels like our home away...

Dear RuthRF, We are so glad you've made The Rookwood Inn your "home away from home." We enjoy having you both back year after year! Perhaps you'll visit us another time of year, such as the fall for Apple Squeeze or the Tub Parade and gorgeous fall foliage. Or, a visit to the spectacular snow covered, serene winter Berkshres where...

The best thing about Rookwood is it's location; just a block away from the lovely town of Lenox. From here it goes downhill, literally. The Inn is poorly maintained and has seen it's day. Many things in your room are broken and dilapidated, dark and dingy. The tiny bathroom was so dark that I couldn't see my beard well enough...

We are so sorry you were not happy with your stay at our lovely inn. Had we been apprised of any items broken or not working properly we would have been happy to fix or replace them. The shower curtains are washed regularly and it is true that yours was not white, it is ecru. We would have been very...
