The Motel is very quiet so sleep was good. That's about all good we have about this place. The room was very dirty, mold on the ceiling and on the walls. You could directly smell the mold when entering the room. Drain was clogged etc. Breakfast also not too good. They changed the name from Econo Lodge to Magnusson. I...

My sister and I got this 2.5 star hotel on Hotwire. Reading the terrible reviews was a little unnerving, but we were locked in so decided to make it an adventure! This is NOT a three or four star hotel, that much is clear, but the price was TOTALLY legitimate for the location (10 min from Tanglewood) and time (summer...

After checking in we headed over to our designated room and were shocked by the appalling conditions. At first glance I noticed portions of the carpet were torn up, there was no bed skirt located on the box spring, and there was a strong odor of mold permeating the room. After a closer inspection we located at least three points...

This is probably the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was shabby, which I can overlook, but it smelled of must and mold. There was no alarm clock and we couldn't get a wake up call because the phone didn't work. The toilet leaked out on to the bathroom floor. We were given used soap. I could go...

If you just need a place to sleep for the night, the price was right. The facility needs updating, repairs, replacing ect. The staff tries to please but the place needs help. Our bed was firm, the mattress was clean, the bedding as vanilla. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The grouting to the tile was bright and clean,...

The worst hotel experience I've ever had in the USA. I am so glad that my family and I left unscathed. Moldy, rusty, broken, smelly, gross and disgusting. I saw the staff spraying industrial strength air freshener to cover the smell in the main lobby. Broken drawers. Rusty shower. The most depressing pool and swing set I have ever seen....

My wife and I stayed here so we could attend a family wedding three miles away at Cranwell. It's a total dump. The carpeting is torn, the rooms are old, the bathrooms are poorly lit. Even the TV sucks. We had a 19" Philips CRT set that was about 15 years old and had a crappy cable signal. Suggestion: don't...

Hotel is very out of shape: - room smells moldy - fridge not working - airco hanging by a thread - other room had been urinated in - breakfast very poor Young men at front desk trying to maintain professional attitude in chaos. Shame, because setup and location are charming and quiet.

Tanglewood week end. Needed a place to stay near Lenox. There are much better ones if you look harder but needed two beds. Average motel like many in the States. Has been a bit redecorated but still on budget style

It seemed like this was the first time the front desk had worked a hotel. Check-In was complete chaos with many angry people trying to get a room before heading to a concert at Tanglewood. The woman at check in was on the phone with someone stating she was "overwhelmed.... shaking". We were given a key to an occupied room...
