I just returned from a weekend and that exceeded my expectations. The grounds are beautiful with walking trails and outdoor adventure. Classes include more than you can imagine including yoga, Pilates, Zumba, weight classes,classes in the pool, kayaking, tarot cards and way more.

The negative reviews from the spring are alarming. I’ve been to CR 4 times over the years and am bringing my daughter for the first time this October. I’m nervous it won’t live up to the hype, I’ve always loved it. I’ve always observed the fitness area is outdated but I can live with that with the newly renovated rooms. What’s this about the menu not changing? Is that still the case, it used to change daily? That is a concern.....

Our culinary philosophy may have changed slightly since your last visit. Our team works closely with local farms to ensure our ingredients reflect the seasonality and locale of the Berkshires. Our inspiration comes from taking classic New England fare, and energizing it with more healthful and organic grains, vegetables, and proteins. We change our menus with each season, allowing us to highlight locally sourced offerings at their peak of freshness and availability. I’m seeing some negative reviews since the new owners/ management took over. Does anyone have feedback who have gone to CR over the years, including in the past year? It also looks like prices have gone up and that there are fewer specials offering discounts. I’ve traveled there many times , but not since the new ownership and I’m hesitant to spend the money.

How many miles from George Washington Bridge in NJ.
