No arguing that this is a beautiful property, with first class fixtures and fittings, and offers huge potential, but definitely missing the little touches to justify the high room rate... coffee/tea facilities, cookies, fresh fruit, a selection of cereals, pastries and fruit to round out the delicious hot breakfast. We're visiting from overseas and with jet-lag it would have been...

Kemble Inn is a work in progress. Scott, the affable young Canadian owner, has already invested heavily in the property and is in the process of turning it into a boutique hotel to be named The Frederick. The location is wonderful. It sits in a quiet corner of Lenox, a short walk from the historic centre with its shops and...

From the moment we stepped through the door we loved this place. Beautiful decor, stunning entrance hallway with curving staircase set the tone for our stay. It felt like staying in a beautiful home rather than a hotel. We stayed in room 204 on the first floor with views over the garden to the wooded hills and valleys. Our bed...

My husband and I travel quite a bit, and used to come to Lenox every year until life got too hectic! This was our first trip back in over ten years, and we used trip advisor to locate a place to stay. We loved the Kemble Inn! While a little pricey, our room was beautiful, the restaurant had amazing food...

Hamptons in the Berkshires - The Inn has a "Ralph Lauren" vibe. Don't miss Sunday brunch on the porch overlooking the Inn's groomed property. Dinner is served on the porch and dining room. We plan to reserve the Inn's private dining room for a family event coming up soon. Service by William is outstanding.

We've gone to a few BNBs in Lenox, this has been the best. Service, food, room - really great. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. My only feedback for the Inn would be to work on the front door, the slamming noise is distracting and at times a bit offensive when you are on a weekend of relaxation.

Cozy rooms, super comfortable king size beds and a relaxing atmosphere! The staff was kind, but lacked some elegance and professionalism. Maybe we're old fashioned in Europe, but here it would not be acceptable to call your customers "guys" for example. The restaurant didn't leave our company satisfied. The food was good, but the portions were small and in the...

As a couple who has the opportunity to travel the globe extensively for both business and pleasure, my wife & I enjoy many places of subtle beauty and peacefulness around the world. One of our favorites remains "The Lawn" at the Kemble Inn! The combination of Berkshire air, stunning landscape views, incredible local food from an attentive chef, irresistible cocktails...

We discovered the Kemble Inn about a year ago and it's become our home away from home in the Berkshires. It is difficult to find well executed casual elegance anywhere...but particularly in the Berkshires. The farm-to-table food at Table 6 is exceptional. The reimagined rooms manage to have a sophisticated design aesthetic yet manage to be relaxed and comfortable. Each...

We had the pleasure of spending a first and then a second weekend at the Kemble Inn this spring and summer. We have stayed at a number of small inns around New England, but the Kemble Inn is superlative in every way. We mentioned during our first visit that we'd planned the trip to commemorate our engagement as Table Six...
