It's an old summer home of Proctor changed to Inn. So property is old but some part are very good looking. Room is old style with expensive taste. In the evening they probably got the best bar, and dining with live music in the area. Morning breakfast is great that includes all kind of stuff.

I've stayed at this beautiful hotel several times this summer, and am always welcomed with a smile. The food is wonderful (try the gazpacho!) and the evening entertainment is great. Beautiful, historic property, and great breakfast too!

We had a great stay labor day weekend! Very nice owners that keep a clean, well managed inn. They strive to make sure all guests have a great stay. I highly recommend the Gateways in Lenox. Also it is located really close to tanglewood and other attractions. Within a block of nice shops and café type restaurants, taverns, and fine...

We have just returned from 4 special days at this unusual warm beautifully maintained Inn. This was once the home of the Proctors of Proctor and Gamble which was built in 1912 with quality. The location is perfect--walking distance to the stores and restaurants in Lenox. Wonderful gardens. The rooms are clean--hardwood floors--large tiled bathrooms, thick mattresses and soft sheets...

When we visit our kids at a local summer camp we started a tradition of enjoying the Berkshires based at the Gateways Inn in Lenox. The innkeepers are warm and welcoming and will do anything you need to make the stay enjoyable. They've ordered tickets for shows, reservations at restaurants, and any other accommodations we've needed. As a family into...

The staff of Gateways was great to my family for my mother's 80th birthday weekend. My mother has being staying with them for years and raved about them, they made a special birthday cake for her. The Inn is very conveniently located in downtown Lenox.

This inn is small but the room we had was very comfortable featuring a Jacuzzi tub, Turkish robes, a small refrigerator, and 2 armchairs. The included breakfast was very good as well. The dinner in the restaurant was fair, but we really enjoyed the music in the lounge after dinner. The entertainers were great and it was a very comfortable...

The Inn itself is lovely and the historic details shared with our large group by Michelle, the owner, yesterday, were informative and interesting. Unfortunately lunch was a disappointment. I should have ordered the chicken instead of the salmon. I was never served the dinner roll that others were served. The last one on the plate served to the person next...

I'm so sorry you were disappointed in your lunch. If there was something wrong with your salmon you should have brought it to someones attention. I assure you that not getting a dinner roll was purely accidental. We had plenty and again, you simply needed to bring it to someones attention and you would have received a roll. Your lunch...

Although I was staying at the Gateway Inn on business, I felt that this would be the perfect place to return for a weekend in the Berkshires. Nestled in the heart of a lovely town, the Inn compliments it's locale perfectly. And writing as someone who is detail orientated I fully appreciate the attention to detail and amount of care...

We recently had a comfortable stay at the Gateways Inn, which is very conveniently located in a century-old house close to the center of Lenox. Attached is a restyaurant-bar, which features entertainment. Since we were going to Tanglewood we had not put the entertainment on our agenda, but from what we could hear from the restaurant it was, indeed, entertaining,...
