I had a few days to toy with between business commitments in Boston and decided to head out to the Cape. This B&B was great in that it was clean and well kept, welcoming, and centrally located if you want to explore the cape or...More

Nice to hear from you and it was nice to have you come and relax and enjoy. This is what I want our guests to do. And thank you for 'defending' the Inn and the pets of both Bill and the guests. We try very...More
This is my first review of a Cape B&B, and I'm doing so to help anyone avoid this place. We had a short stay at this B&B last summer and couldn't have been more disappointed. This was the worst B&B experience we have ever had,...More

This is a tough one to respond to. And since it was a revue of a stay here last summer, I’m sorry I can’t remember the guests.
Anyway as to cats and fleas and all. Because of allergies the cats aren’t allowed in the Main...More
We were lucky enough to get a room here on only two days notice. The Inn is almost 200 years old, which is a plus in our book, as we love historic properties. Bill's car collection (50+!), housed in Toad Hall, is a real treat...More

Any comments from people who have stayed here, but who are not into pets - or, more specifically, would have pet allergies. The inn sounds delightful, but the reviews commenting on pats does raise some concern.

WE are very conscious of the pet stuff. Have well behaved dogs here all the time. They are always on leashes and not allowed at breakfast table and such, so don't bother other people at all. Cats are different. Many people are allergic and so they are not allowed inside the main inn building at all. The Annex has 3 rooms on second floor that has a second cat proof entrance. My cats are allowed only on the first floor of the Annex and outside. But can't take any 'outside guest' cats at all.
