My wife and I stayed here just this past weekend (July 11-July 14) and couldn't be happier with our experience. We're both very picky when it comes to hotels and the hotel's location. The Bass Rocks Ocean Inn is located across the road from some of the most beautiful Ocean you can see on the East Coast. It's quite literally...

My husband and I stayed this past weekend. What a great place to stay! The rooms are renovated with flat screen tvs. The bed was very comfy. Basically all the rooms have an ocean view except for the ones in the main house. I recommend staying on the first vs the 2nd floor. Same views and you don't need to...

Very clean. Nice pool, great location. Very friendly staff. The room was nice and had a great view of the ocean. They cover all the details really nicely, all the way down to cream in the fridge for the coffee.

The location of the property is great, facing the ocean from every room in the main hotel. We opted fo a 1st floor room, allowing a better view (slightly higher cost). The room was spacious and clean. The porche sitting area a welcome treat. The bathroom is a bit small, but with some organisation of toiletry, manageable. The hotel booked...

This place rocks! (no pun intended). Stayed in suite for anniversary. Clean and fabulous room with very comfy bed and awesome air conditioning (you control your own). Lots of extra perks in room, such as dishes, microwave and coffeemaker. Jacuzzi in our suite worked great. Friendly staff, bountiful breakfast with home made muffins, bread, scones. Perfect location overlooking beach. Just...

We're in the "old" building which has a handful of suites all looking out at the ocean. Pricey but worth it. Very helpful staff. Book whale watch and/or lobster bake thru hotel since it's cheaper than booking it yourself. Suite is spacious and well furnished. And b'fast is included and good, too.

Beautiful location and ocean views from all rooms. Hotel staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Hotel rate includes continental breakfast, bikes on premises. Walking path along ocean leads to beach less than 1/2 mile from hotel.

Been there before and we will be there again! It's a great place to stay and the staff and owner were great! The ocean is RIGHT there! You won't regret booking this place. We have stayed both 1st and 2nd floor and they were both fine.

My wife and I went to Gloucester for a weekend getaway and stayed at the inn July 18 -19, 2014. We stayed in The Seaside House. We loved the location, every room has a beautiful ocean view and a balcony with a wicker table and chairs to enjoy the view. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly...

My husband and I stayed at the Bass Rocks Ocean Inn during our recent New England road trip. The room was clean, nice and had a beautiful ocean view. The bathroom was very small and a bit dated but extremely clean. The cleaning staff must have used a fabric refresher after changing the bedding. The bed smelled like "grandmas perfume...
