We would definitely revisit the Howarth House B&B. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating making our stay very enjoyable. A great place to stay if you are going to enjoy a dinner and music at the Bull Run Tavern.

We have returned to Howarth House and have not been disappointed. Brian and Linda successfully make their home your home. The grounds on this multi acre property are impeccably beautiful and their rooms are spacious and comfortable. (We have stayed in 2 of their 3 rooms). Breakfast with a bowl of fruit, homemade pastry and the option to choose a... More

It is with great excitement that I write this review. The Howarth House could not have been a nicer stay for our anniversary trip back to the town we used to live in. Linda and Brian provided warmth and comfort, beautiful accomodations, a very special home and extraordinary breakfasts...the best we have had in any prior B&B stays elsewhere. The... More

We came here for graduation for my son at Cushing Academy. The whole family was under one roof. The owners were gracious and kind. Breakfast was amazing. The drive to school was a short 20 minutes with a scenic tour of the country side. Loved it and would come back again in a minute!

My parents have raved about this place for several years, so when we came to visit family, we decided to try it. It was a lovely place, and I look forward to returning. From the gourmet breakfasts, to the homemade cookies upon our arrival, to the tea and relaxing Jacuzzi tub, it was a very enjoyable stay. The hosts were... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Howarth House. Brian and Linda are very personable and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. As a former Fireman, Brian has certainly honed his cooking skills and typically prepares the gourmet morning breakfast which is served in sun room overlooking the property. Linda takes care of the baking and you will enjoy... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this lovely B & B when visiting last minute for a funeral. Linda & Brian are friendly and generous hosts. Spent one night here visiting family in the area. The house is lovely, rooms are updated while maintaining original charm. The breakfast was delicious. Hosts super friendly. The added touches like heated tiles in the bathroom especially appreciated in winter- along with tea in rooms, and coffee and treats available downstairs.
