I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime and do choose quality hotels in which to stay. I booked a flight on line and hit what I thought was the Clarion site to book my stay. It was more expensive than a Residence( Marriott) in Boca Raton, FL we stayed at last year during their season. The Clarion is...

We lodged three nights at Clarion Inn Marthas Vineyard, (227 Upper Main St.), Edgartown. Rated the Clarion 9.5 (out of 10) based on hotel’s location to downtown, room accommodations, staff knowledge and kindness, and distance of bus stop to the hotel. The Clarion has this wonderful automatic pancake maker (which is really cool). There is a grocery store across the...

We booked a room for a weekend in early September and were very satisfied with our stay. We felt it provided a good value for our money compared to other options in town. This hotel is somewhat more upscale than your average Clarion. It's in a charming building, the bedding is very nice with fluffy duvets, the bathroom is huge...

If you do not like to walk quite a ways to town, don't stay here. It is really by nothing, except Stop and Shop and a gas station. You have to drive or take the bus to everything. We walked to town but it is about a mile. And a cab from the ferry terminal will cost you $18. Services...

We only got to stay here for one night, but it was a great stay and we will definitely be back. The staff was all so accommodating and made us feel at home. Room was a nice size (especially the bathroom) and very clean.

Stayed here for several nights. Location was great since it was within walking distance to center of Edgartown and many great restaurants. Staff was friendly, room clean and there was plenty of parking. The only negatives we could think of were that there was no elevator to the second floor (we had several large, heavy bags) and no laundry facilities....

What a delightful surprise! This small, 32 room, hotel is great...downright fantastic for the price. First of all, it's located in the perfect location...easy walking distance to everything in town, but on the quiet upper part of Main Street. The rooms are wonderful. Super clean, great big comfy beds, flat screen TVs with all the channels, really nice bathrooms and...I'll...

I have stayed here a few times now and the rooms are pretty clean and comfortable. Very economy, but nice enough for the price. However the wireless internet speed is terrible! I tried to do work and my emails would continually not send. I know the internet connection on the island can be weak, but this was seriously not acceptable.

Let me start by saying I have been a guest at the Clarion Inn for several nights. This is my first time "on the island", and I must say the hotel is beautiful. The staff's attention to detail surpasses many higher end hotels that I have stayed in. In reading some of the reviews, I agree with many, and disagree...
