I booked our room through Expedia and there was a promotion going where when you booked your room, you would not have to pay anything until you arrived at the hotel. This was back around February. Now come April I receive a call stating that they were going to cancel my reservation if I did not pay the required one...

The Clarion Inn Martha's Vineyard was very clean and in a great location. The hotel has very attentive and professional staff. A great daily continental breakfast is offered that has many choices. I would recommend this if you're looking for a traditional hotel stay.

The Cliffs are certainly worth seeing. They are on the eastern tip of Martha's Vineyard in a secluded area. There is a path which leads to the beach but we didn't go because it was a windy day. On top of the Cliffs, there are several small shoppes where drinks or souvenirs can be bought. This is a beautiful place.

The staff was okay and the breakfast was average. The hallway downstairs always smelled of food from the cafeteria. The housekeepers kept chatting all day. The rooms were dusty and the place constantly wreaked of smoke. Overall a very basic place.

I stayed at this hotel last week for work and overall had a very pleasant experience. CONS: 1. The walls are super thin. Other guests at the hotel (young contractors) were very rude, and I ended up having to move rooms. Mary at the front desk was incredibly understanding and helpful. 2. Probably not much the staff could do without...

Came to Martha's Vineyard for New Years and the next night, the Clarion is centrally located, easy to get to the Stop & Shop for snacks or a newspaper. Everyone at the front desk was nice, large room, clean bathroom and comfortable bed with nice linens. Large fridge, microwave, coffee maker in room and free wi-fi. Breakfast was simple and...

This place was okay. We traveled in December to Martha's Vineyard and it was one of the few places still open as most of the accommodations close for the season. The rooms were large, clean, and there was free cable with HBO. The hotel does charge $1.50 per day for the in-room safe, even if you do not use it!...

The Clarion has always been our home away from home on Martha's Vineyard. Nice spacious rooms and a great location. Convenient to pick up provisions for your stay. I would highly recommend it. It is an easy walk to the downtown area and also to walk the back streets of the residential side of Edgartown.

Check in was Ok, my first thought was we had made a big mistake booking here. No one to help with luggage. No elevator, the halls were smelly like a badly run care facility. The room looked Ok. Bathroom needed alittle TLC. Very old. The employees during the day were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than answering any of...

I spent four nights from September 20th. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was relieved to find the hotel in a good part of the town and conveniently located near restaurants and right next door to a grocery store.
