The Captain's House Inn clearly earns its status with AAA with every visitor. We arrived just in time for afternoon tea and were not disappointed. We enjoyed the dining area which is bright and airy even while still winter. The selections of cakes and sweets to accompany brewed tea of several varieties was impressive and too good to pass up....

Our room was wonderful and the staff were exceptionally helpful when we needed them! Tea and breakfast were lovely, and they even have an extensive DVD library for when you're just lounging about :) My boyfriend flew over from London and was astounded at the service and quality of the B&B!

Everything was lovely, well kept and clean. However, I had a very loud fireplace. It would start the heating cycle silently, then towards the end of the cycle the noise would start again. But in the morning, I had a lovely breakfast in the airy and beautiful breakfast room. It was lovely. From the teapot collection to the banana bread,...

This was our 5th stay at the Captain's House Inn during the last 10 years. We love everything about this inn, but our favorites are the wonderful breakfasts, teas, and the delightful English ladies that help out throughout the inn. The rooms are always lovely and clean. We try to come back here as much as possible..

Wonderful room! Tea in afternoon, cookies at night, fantastic breakfast! Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Would like to see the grounds when garden is in bloom and more shops and restaurants are open. Would also stay 2 nights instead of 1

We're so glad you enjoyed your time with us. Yes, the spring, summer, and fall are a little more in bloom and hopping, but it is always a treat to see Cape Cod during the different times of year. We hope to see you again!

The Captain's House Inn exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were extremely polite & really took the time to welcome us. The perfect spot for a mid-winter getaway. Breakfast and high tea were splendid, and the dining room was flooded with light, thanks to 3 walls of windows. Our room, the Hideaway Suite in the Captain's Cottage, was perfect for us -- though not for those who have trouble with stairs or mind ducking under sloping ceilings! The staff was friendly,...

“We love Wild Pigeon. But we have checked out the others and they are all nice in their own way. We stayed in the Hideaway Suite too which was very unique as long as you can climb up steep stairs. Very cozy!”

“Judging by the website the rooms are all beautiful. However, we loved both the spaciousness (and fireplace) of the Eliza Jane suite as well as the huge whirlpool tub in the bathroom. ”
