Cozy, warm, friendly with a delicious breakfast to start the day and tea to relax and recharge. This was our second, but not last visit there. Off season is definitely the way to go; both reduced crowds and prices.

We’ve stayed at a good many inns over the years, yet we haven’t experienced as many amenities so nicely delivered: complimentary wake up coffee in room, fabulous breakfast, afternoon tea (in classic tea pots) with yummy treats, open kitchen with hot beverages and cookies in the

This is truly a special Inn, 16 Rooms and each one is unique. The high tea and breakfast were both fantastic and the owners and staff were exceptional. We have to go back after winter to see the grounds when in bloom. This is a hidden gem.

A very relaxing place to stay. Have stayed here before for our anniversary. We enjoy the cape in the off season and this Inn is perfect. The breakfasts were delicious. Did not have a chance to sample the cookies.

Being on Cape in the off season certainly has its advantages – fewer people, less traffic, discount prices and sometimes you get an Inn all to yourself! That’s what happened to me recently when I stayed two nights at Chatham’s Captain’s House Inn. There were other guests but

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to take advantage of the peace and quiet Chatham and the inn offer during the winter months. We, too, are sorry we were unable to visit with you during your stay but we do have to take a vacation ourselves from time to time! We know you were well looked after and are glad you felt the same. We hope to welcome you the next time you travel to Chatham!

Amanda, Thank you for thinking of us again. Sorry for the delay in the response. Most of the stores will open up by Memorial Day weekend. I would say mid-week may be a little quieter, but not by much. We look forward to welcoming you in the Spring.

HI Tina, The nearest "lounging" beach, is the Chatham Lighthouse which is 1.5 miles from the inn. There is not parking beyond 30 minutes there, so you can park in town and walk over. Walking from the inn to this beach is about a 30 minute walk. I hope this helps answer your question! If there is anything else that we can do then please do not hesitate to ask us.

Thank you for your interest in the Captain's House Inn. We can accommodate children ten and over. We are a bit limited in what we still have available for the April 29th time period. Our Hideaway Suite is a great option for the twins as it has a queen size bed and a sitting room with a pullout sofa. Unfortunately, the other two rooms in the Captain's Cottage are reserved. If you wanted two rooms close to each other, you may want to look at the Hannah Rebekah room and the Clarissa Suite, both in the Main House. Feel free to visit our website or call us at 508.945.0127.

Hi! Thank you for seeking us out. However, we are located in Chatham, Massachusetts in the U.S., not in Paris. Your trip sounds wonderful though and we hope you enjoy your time there!

Hi! Thank you for your interest in the Captains House Inn. We are located about 2/3 mile from downtown Chatham where there are many shops and restaurants. About 1/3 of the trip is not side-walked, but many guests walk down and it is safe. Alternatively, there is free parking in town. In the summer it can get quite busy, but generally people don't have a hard time finding a spot. I hope this helps!
