Wonderful campground. Large sites, family/animal friendly. Nice general store, lots of playgrounds for the kids. Schedule visit well in advance. Close to all the hot spots on the Cape. If you need a car, recommend Enterprise, they come directly to your site for pickup/drop off. Friendly staff.

Sweetwater Forest Campground is by far the best campground on Cape Cod! The staff are awesome and they really enforce the quiet hours - really appreciated by those of us who want to enjoy a peaceful camping experience. The sites are almost all very spacious and private. The restrooms are kept very clean and while the showers are a little...

We've stayed at Sweetwater Forest Campground in the past and it is such a wonderful place. They're always so helpful and pleasant. I had to call a couple times with questions and each time the person who helped was incredibly personable. The campground is very clean, you can tell they care. The bathrooms are basic, the only thing I would...

This is my 4th trip camping at Sweetwater Forest, and I'm booking next year without question. The campground is pet friendly, and there is plenty to do, as well as lots of quiet time if you prefer it. It's centrally located and near the great Rails-to-Trail, so don't forget your bike! This year I purchased a kayak nearby, and had...

We booked site A37 to accommodate our 37 foot 5th wheel and 23 foot ford F350 dually truck. The site is slightly "U" shaped so it took about 20 minutes of back & forth to get the fit we wanted (as opposed to a pull through). Location was great, a few spots from the office. Loved the spot, we had...

Pulled into the campground prior to the normal 2:00 pm check in time and I was greeted by a very friendly employee. No problem checking in early he stated your site has already been inspected and is ready for you. Check in was smooth and fast 5 min at most. The site was large and level, and services were in...

We had a wonderful 5 night stay with 3 children on a comfortable W-E-S site adjacent to a playground. Another more basic playground was also nearby. Heather, the manager, was friendly and helpful as were the other folks in the office. The store provisions met our needs nicely. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there...

The sites here are beautiful. They each offer privacy. The campground is very clean as are the restrooms. The only thing missing at this campground is a heated pool. Otherwise, no complaints. The entire family, even the dogs loved it here.

I have been coming to this campground on and off for something close to 20 years. I like it because it is super convenient to just about anything you would want to do on the Cape and the staff is very friendly, they have great coffee in the store, and there are plenty of little playgrounds and a game room...

My boyfriend and I had a great time camping at Sweetwater during the first weekend in August. The location is great and we felt like we could drive anywhere in 20 minutes. We chose A-42 which we loved and would camp again. It was probably a 3-4 minute walk to the bathroom (and a bit hilly) so not sure I...
