We were fortunate enough to be invited to a wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. This venue is first class wedding planning and takes the event to another level. They are well organized, well staffed, and provide everything you need for a memorable wedding experience. The hotel accommodations were at the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. We eere very impressed with their facility. It was well staffed with courteous and professional employees. The rooms were clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. We particularly enjoyed our stroll aroud the grounds especially with their hop garden whose hops are used to make local beer and their on site garden which is used by the restaurant for their farm to table restaurant. If you are planning a wedding this is a no brainer. Why go anywhere else?

We wanted a break that didn't involve hours of driving so my SO booked The Inn at Chesapeake. I'm so glad he did! While the location is not directly on the water, it's very close with easy access to restaurants in Annapolis. We stayed in The Barn. I was worried about noise from Route 50 but our room was blissfully quiet. And it seemed brand new so not sure how long this building has been open. The grounds were lovely and more importantly spotless. We saw people cleaning constantly, which we appreciated. We enjoyed our massages--yes---they are a bit pricey but that was OK for us. The massage therapists were outstanding so well worth it. And we loved the gift shop! We only ate breakfast at the Inn. that was probably one area that needs some help. You order at the counter in the Market and it was very busy--more than the staff could comfortably handle--both mornings. COVID is a factor here but for sure this needs a little improvement. We will definitely be back--in fact I am considering booking a business meeting there for later this year.

My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway. We have a 1 year old and I am 8 months pregnant so we just wanted some peace and relaxation before our lives become crazier. We stayed in one of the cottages which was really nice and spacious, but Route 50 is RIGHT behind the cottages. We were nervous immediately upon arrival as the sound of traffic is really loud outside, but were hopeful that the cottages would be soundproofed inside (seemed like a no-brainer necessity - especially as they were only built a couple years ago). No such luck! Route 50 is a busy road with tractor trailers traveling along it 24/7 and even playing white noise on our phones to try to drown out the sound of huge trucks passing by all night long didn't help. I had the worst night of sleep I've had since my daughter was a newborn, and that's a lot coming from someone 8 months pregnant! We complained to management the next day and they said they didn't want to move us to the main hotel because there was going to be a wedding there that night and often times guests are drunk and rowdy so it could be worse for us. So we stayed in the cottage and they gave us 50% off our second night, but it still really put a damper on the weekend for us and unfortunately we did not return home well rested. It really is a shame that they built the cottages right next to the highway and did not account for the constant noise - and even crazier that they still charge a premium to stay in them when the overall ambiance is not that of luxury!

I was looking for a quick break from the COVID lock down and wanted a few days of pampering and rest. Upon arrival and after a massage at the spa I thought this was going to be just what I needed. The grounds are very nice and the staff were great! The crab cake sandwich was excellent! The major draw back was the noice from Route 50 that I could not shut out, that in conjunction with a very loud group of guest making noice it lead to sleepless nights. The room was cold even with the gas fireplace and the sofa in the sitting area was uncomfortable. For the money that I spent I did expect a little more comforts.

The Inn was just perfect for a girls weekend. It's very charming and quaint. Loved the outdoor firepit and fireplaces. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. Knoxie's has spectacular food ! The Market is a great place for breakfast and snacks. The employees of both were so fun and pleasant.
