My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Parsonage while on a weekend away at St. Michaels. Where to start? The room was very clean and cozy with wine glasses and an easy-to-use wood-burning fireplace. Sallie, the innkeeper, is very friendly and helpful with tips about local restaurants and other places to visit. The 24-hour coffee and tea was...

Great Experience at an awesome local B&B. The innkeeper Sallie really makes you feel at home, her breakfast is amazing as well as her hospitality. She was very accommodating to us, for example, we were the only ones staying at the Inn this Sunday so she allowed us an upgrade to the top room with a King Bed. The next...

Absolutely charming place. Our second floor room was lovely with a door to a deck. Great location on Main St. With easy walks to many shops and restaurants. The breakfasts were the best of any B & B I've ever been to. Our proprietor could not have been nicer and friendlier! All in all a first rate B & B.

Freddi and I are fairly seasoned travelers and are not given to superlatives; this review will be an exception. From the time we called to confirm our reservation to the time we left the parking lot behind the inn our short break to escape the chaos in Washington was delightful. Sallie is an experienced Innkeeper and an excellent chef. The...

My husband and I visited for his 40th birthday. The inn is just lovely and the innkeeper was so kind and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and they provided extra niceties just to boost the experience. They host a tea in the afternoons at 4 and the breakfast the next morning was AMAZING! Table set with linens, china, and we...

Hubby and I went for a pre Christmas mini vacay....what a lovely experience...Sallie and John and of course Lola made us feel instantly at home...a lovely Victorian Inn that was warm and inviting...clean and cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was amazing... homemade from scratch yogurt and granola with fruit, waffles and sausage, coffee, tea and a...

Felt accommodation fell way below a standard that should have been met for the rate charged. Room in the main house offered to us in lieu of our original resv. was declined because it was located just as you came in the main door, which didn't seem to shut completely (or lock, perhaps?)..not a very safe feeling. Also location was...

Sallie C, Manager at Parsonage Inn, responded to this review This is the copy of the letter I sent when these guests requested a refund. The story they tell in this review isn't accurate. They paid 150.00 a night. As with most reviews like this, knowledgeable travelers look at this and compare it with the dozens and dozens of positive...

Wonderful weekend stay in late July/August. My mother and I planned a last minute trip to St. Michael's just to explore and booked this B&B 2 days before arriving. It is quaint and really cute on the outside. We loved the big front porch and the cookies and tea in the living room! We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast...

I picked the Parsonage Inn because it was in town and we could walk to the various shops without driving. The room we stayed in was charming and cozy! We enjoyed as well he cider and cookies that were available upon our return after shopping. Sallie the inn keeper is very nice and provided us with a tour of the...

Praises to Sallie, the Innkeeper, at The Parsonage Inn. We had a newly decorated room with added little luxuries that made things nicer. Breakfast of scotch eggs was quite a treat. Sallie is a great cook and she is personable and gives great ideas for dining and sightseeing St Michaels. I love that I can walk to any place in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Parsonage Inn (1883) provides a striking example of the late Victorian era with its unique brick inlays and center tower with steeple. What makes us unique? The little things! Log burning and gas fireplaces, coffee, tea and bottled water available 24 hours a day, an ice maker for your drinks, active wine chilling sleeves, wine glasses and a corkscrew in your room, great bikes, freshly baked cookies, homemade organic yogurt and granola (we use as many organic products as possible - including free range eggs!), a choice of two entree items for breakfast, one sweet - one savory, (we even bake our own bread for French Toast) and we cater to all types of dietary needs. Then there are the big things that aren't readily visible. For instance, our pet friendly room (there is just one - so be sure to call) isn't just pet friendly - it is friendly to non pet owners too, we have two complete sets of quilts and shams, the non-pet covers (including blankets) are NEVER used when there is a pet in the room and visa versa, the room really is deep cleaned after each pet visit. These are just a few of the many, many things that our guests love and why they come back - frequently! ... more   less
