We used to go here every year at Christmas time - for about 10 years, but kids came along and life happened and we just kind of stopped. After about a 15 year absence, we decided to go back for a visit. So glad we did! We had a wonderful weekend reliving old memories and making new ones. We probably...

We choose this room for the overlook of the battlefield valley. It has a great view. You need binoculars, which are provided in the room, to really see the landmarks. The room was large and very comfortable. The screened in porch was nice with a small table and lounge chair however since it was winter we did not use it....

We only had one night here, but we will be back. The Inn is so cozy and inviting. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Tina was so warm and friendly. She made a wonderful breakfast and accommodated my very upset stomach. We can't wait to return and spend more time here.

If only the rooms didn't still look like they had in the 1990s, when the inn was built. Public spaces were nice, but rooms were dark and outdated. Screened in porches were a great feature. Breakfast, while three courses, was only average. And "course three" one morning was an ice cream sundae. Which no one wanted and everyone thought was...

Our one night stay was wonderful. What blew me away the most was the setting: 95 acres, superb vistas of fields, mountains, trees, sunrise and sunset views, great walking areas on property and the rural countryside. Superb! Tina is friendly, helpful, attentive. John was skilled and fast in taking our reservation and offering directions. There are many small thoughtful items...

First, we have to say Tina, the innkeeper, is the best. She has a great personality. We enjoyed the superb breakfast, the brandy and amaretto, and the Grey African parrot. The common area has a lot to discover and keep you occupied. To eat, you need to go into the surrounding small towns. There is a deli market near the...

We managed to book a room here for a last minute trip. Expensive for a B&B but we enjoyed it and would definitely come back to tour the area more extensively. We only needed for one night as a stopover point on our way further south. We were very lucky to find availability in this very touristy area. Everywhere else...

Mark & staff are awesome! Rooms are beautiful, location is breathtaking, and breakfast is fit for a King. Warning, if you experience it for the first time, you will be back for more :) I would highly recommend staying at this location for those looking to take in the beauty of Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, and the actual Antietam Battlefield which...

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic!!! I could talk all day about how much I love staying here in our room with the screened in porch on the second floor overlooking the battlefield of Antietam. It is so wonderfully quiet there and the room is lovely the bed is awesome the towels are soft and I just can't say enough...
