We had a very nice overnight stay for our daughters graduation from Frostburg. So convenient. Very polite service and spacious suite. The building has wonderful architectural features. Very clean rooms as well. We felt comfortable and plan to come back for site seeing.

We stayed at the Gunter hotel before and after cycling the GAP trail. Our experience could not have been better. We enjoyed our lovely room in the restored historic hotel. The meals we had in the restaurant were excellent. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and perhaps the part that made our ride so much more enjoyable was that...

We were passing through Frostburg on our way out of Annapolis saw the sign and just turned in. We did not spend the night in the hotel but the desk clerk was so nice she gave us a guided tour. They are in the midst of renovation honoring the beauty of the past but adding I would call urban chic...

When checking in I mention it was our anniversary, so as we had dinner in the Gin Mill the owner came over to our table and offer us desert.on the house. All the staff were very friendly. Nice, inexpensive place to stay in Frostburg, MD. Had a free daily continental breakfast. Centrally located so easy to walk to most places in Frostburg. Looking forward to going back in June this year to visit by granddaughters.

We visited some friends living in Frostburg and chose to stay at the Gunter Hotel. Our stay was phenomenal. We will definitely come back and stay there again. The location is great, walking distance from many restaurants and shops. I heard that the new restaurant and bar open recently, so I will definitely be checking that out soon!

New owners were wonderful. Great place to stay with a lot of character and history. Right in the heart of downtown and convenient to everything. Can't wait to visit again when the restaurant is opened. Rooms were huge and very comfortable. Please reopen the original speakeasy, I'll even come up to wipe the coal dust from the bottles😉

While under renovation this is still a great place to stay. We had a room with double beds, on the small side but clean and neat. The bathroom was definitely small, but tidy. The place has charm to spare, and the knowledgeable owner knows all the nearby places with good eats. It is within walking distance of half a dozen...
