Loved this place, sweet quaint little town, only approx. 8 miles from Deep Creek. Room was large and VERY clean. The friendly couple that owns the motel are wonderful, they recommended a restaurant up the street that was great! We can't wait to go back!

Beds was horrible, almost would have been better sleeping on the floor with a folded up sleeping bag. Floors was dirty, spilled water on the floor and grabbed a washcloth to dry. When I did the washcloth came up black. TV only half worked right, it would just every few minutes "black out" and kinda flicker before coming back on.... More

We stayed here as a stopover between Columbus and Dolly Sods. It was fine for an overnight stay. We got in late at midnight and left early around 7 a.m. I would not stay here if I was visiting this area, but passing through it was OK. It's in a pretty sketchy neighborhood area. Not a lot of restaurants nearby... More

The people who own/run this motel are very nice. The location is great if you're going to the river, but unfortunately that's where the positives end. The "lobby/greeting area" is the opposite of welcoming, which is not a good sign of what's to come. Then we got a key (as in a regular metal key, not a magnetic security key)... More

Glad we stopped here overnight. This was a quaint hotel in a quaint town. Few amenities but clean and very comfortable. Owner was courteous, accommodating, and helpful. Room was large and spacious. Shower was hot. Bed was comfortable. Perfect for a quick stop. Only fault I found was the lack of a smoke detector.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms are very spacious. However the hotel was very outdated, the steps could definitely use some tlc, and bug control on the outside of the building is a must!!! The office area is in need of MAJOR renovations, and the lack of hours the staff is actual at the hotel is miserable,... More

Our room was very large; the bathroom was very large too. The accommodations are well below a low-priced chain, but then, it was extremely inexpensive. If you're doing a rafting trip, probably makes sense. If you're passing through--like us--we'd go elsewhere.

I travel with my dog to places where I can hike, camp, fish, or just explore off the beaten path. I enjoy finding small towns in North America where the pace is slower and the people are friendly and interesting. Friendsville is such a place. My dog and I spent 3 nights in March at the Yough Valley Motel and... More

We stayed here based on Tripadvisor's review. Very quiet, clean (based on motel standard) rooms in a small town. We spent a night here on our way to Ohiopyle. At this price you can't go anywhere else.
