We"ve always liked the Bed and Breakfast experience for our anniversary weekend. I waited until the last minute to book somewhere because I look for a certain decorating style. I skipped past this initially but I kept going back to it because the outside is gorgeous. I should say negatives to me in general can be too floral or lace...

My sweetheart and I stayed at The Wayside Inn in late September/early October. It was even more charming and picturesque than the website - which is not always the case. The Inn is everything it should be and a few things you don't expect. Beautiful wood floors (that are the right kind of creaky), original woodwork, tons of fireplaces, beautifully...

The Wayside Inn is a very rustic building that just drips with charm. The inside is country quaint, with numerous comfortable sitting rooms on the main floor. We stayed in Betty's suite, which was on the third floor and included its own private sitting room. This room's dedicated bathroom is not ensuite, but just outside in the hallway. The breakfasts...

The evening was GREAT! We were greeted upon arrival at the door & explained everything in detail! It was a rainy day so unfortunately we able to see the outside. The Inn is small but quaint. It's older but rustic style is what attracted me here in the first place. Our room was lovely & the jacuzzi was AWESOME! They...

Look no further. If you wish to stay in a historic property with easy access to Interstate 95...sleep in a soft cozy bed and enjoy a gourmet breakfast, then The Wayside Inn is the one to select. We enjoy the owner, David, spending time with us and his recommendation for dinner was perfect.

David is the ultimate Innkeeper, and he and our accommodations in this beautiful, historic inn that has been gracefully brought into the 21st century provided all the comforts you could ask for. Everything from the beautiful gardens, to the magnificent 200 year old oak tree on the front lawn, will enrich your stay. And I can't forget to mention the...

This is a great place to stay. The Inn is beautiful, the rooms inviting, and the tasty breakfasts fuel you for a day of seeing the area, including Old Ellicott City. The inn-keepers are great folks. The house historic. Book it if you can.

I stayed here on a business trip and wanted a quiet spot with good breakfast after a long week of traveling. I got that and more. I think the pictures and reviews speak for itself on what you would expect in this historic house. What I wanted to add, if this was not emphasized in previous reviews, is that the...

Spent the weekend here with Friends for our yearly B&B Retreat. We all had a Fantastic and Relaxing time. The Innkeepers are very personable, knowledgeable about the area and places to visit and David cooks up a Fantastic Breakfast! We absolutely loved the house, the furnishings and the stories about it. I totally enjoyed the sun-porch and did some afternoon...

We only stayed here for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic house. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and the inn is located a few minutes drive from historic Ellicott City. The owners made us feel welcome and though we missed breakfast because we decided to sleep in, we could smell it and...
