This fortress - built by the Templar Knights - breathes history. The rooms are rather basic (what do you expect in an almost one thousand year old building?) but very comfortable. Continental breakfast is included: boiled egg, yoghurt and bread with a choice of home made jams. Most people just stay over for one night on their way North or... More

We visited this place about 6 years ago when there was no way to put a review on trip advisor, we drove from Paris and found this place as one of our best places to stay in France, GREAT host and owner of this castle, he is a great grand son of the noble people who owned this place, rooms... More

Chateau in course of restoration. Lovely quiet country location - only owls. Spacious ground floor room with painted wooden ceilings, unusually large double bed and private facilities nearby down a corridor. No shower and deep, old bath. Very basically furnished and equipped. Breakfast not up to usual French B&B standard. Whole area would have been wonderful once, complete with now... More

It's off the beaten path and as you arrive you can really feel how hundreds of years ago people were taking the same path looking for a night of rest on their long travels. There isn't a whole lot to do in... More

Restored chateau... Only has 3 rooms/suites to rent out. The surroundings is beautiful and the chateau authentic. Good breakfast, nice grounds, clean bath and room bed and furniture are quite basic but work Definitely good value for money

We stayed here en route from the south of France to Calais, and we're glad we did - we had a very long drive due to traffic, and the host was very helpful. The whole place has a lot of character, and the kids loved the fact it was a castle/country manor. Breakfast was hearty, and although this is a... More
