Right on US 1, great central location for enjoying the Mid-Coast or as a stop along your route Down East. Clean and quiet rooms tucked into the trees. Staff is very attentive and does a great job of taking care of you around your schedule. A true Maine experience. We've enjoyed staying there for the past 10 years.

Also known as Wiscasset Wood Lodge is now owned by a couple who used to work in a western national park. They bring this great experience to Maine. The facilities are well-kept. There is a great trail behind the hotel and a fire pit in the front. They had light snacks available upon arrival. We spent a very quiet night...

I loved this place and would go back again. The room was clean and quiet, and the ambiance was very restful. It is a small place, surrounded by beautiful trees, and there are outdoor games set up to play, including croquet. Every morning the owners would fix a DELICIOUS HOT BREAKFAST available from 6:30-9:30. In the dining room (with a...

Pull in and let the madness of traffic go on without you. Immaculate rooms, pleasant grounds with fire pits, wooded seating areas, and even a short nature trail. Be sure to allow enough time in the morning for the complimentary home cooked breakfast.

We stayed at Wiscasset Motor Lodge this month just days before they closed for their season. Our experience was outstanding. Our rooms were rather basic, but were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The real closer was the home cooked hot breakfast personally prepared by one of the owners and a helper. It was a full breakfast of excellent...

We wanted to spend the night in Wiscasset. This is not a great place to stay. The room smelled of mold, and there was a dirty towel left on the back of the door of our bathroom. However, the owners were gracious, and the breakfast was good.

I'm so sorry to hear that you had a less than pleasant stay. We will be addressing the musty smell a few of the rooms have this winter once we are closed and are able to get in and do work on the rooms. I'll pass on the issue of the towel left on the back of the bathroom door...

I work in the area almost weekly and always look for reasonably priced hotels. Three weeks ago I found this place. It's clean, comfortable and relaxing. The owners are superb nice and the breakfast is incredible. I try to avoid gluten and the owner went out of her way to get me a gluten free muffin from the kitchen. Homemade...

A Tiskat, A Tasket, We found a town named Wiscasset. No, this is not a nursery rhyme but real place. It’s located in the state of Maine, about forty-five (45) minutes north of Portland, on Route One. The town's normal claim to fame are its Lobster Rolls. But there is another place that is a standout in Wiscasset, and that...

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a family wedding nearby. Our room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was nicely done and a surprise as we didn't know about it!! The grounds were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again if the need ever arises.
