The people at Ogunquit River Inn were life savers. Showed up there on a September Friday night at 10:00 after a total fiasco at another hotel where we had reservations. The man behind the desk that night was kind and courteous and quickly found us a room (even though the sign said no vacancy) at a good rate. The room...

Overall a pleasant experience. I drove by the hotel because from Route 1 it looks more like an office building than a hotel. The lobby was well renovated, pleasantly staffed by friendly and informative staff, and efficient. The room was spacious, very well renovated as well, had a spectacular view of the Ogunquit River, and two comfortable beds (may have...

My husband and I were on the road sightseeing all day, and needed a place to stay late in the evening...we called this hotel around 8pm and spoke to Mike. Nicest man, very pleasant, friendly and accommodating, got our room booked and made the half hour drive. Upon our arrival ...he told us about local restaurants to grab a late...

We made our reservation months in advance and all that was available at the time was a first floor terrace room. I should have asked if I could change it for a higher floor on arrival because there are alot of stairs to get to it and it was difficult to lug the luggage. But that was my bad, no...

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river. The room was clean & beautiful. The breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again. There is a big yard in the back with picnic tables & grill. Some of the rooms have a distant view of the ocean. There is an outside pool.

Being our first time in Maine, this hotel was recommended to us. We were pleased with it. The staff was very accommodating (Mike), and the balcony rooms offered beautiful views at sunrise and sunset. Balconies are shared with other guests on your floor, and there are no elevators. Large outdoor staircases (17 steps) lead to balcony rooms. Rooms were neat...

Dina M, I would like to thank you for your kind words regarding your stay here with us! As you mentioned, balcony rooms do require stairs, except 2nd floor in building 3. We do offer rooms here that require no stairs, if needed! Our bathrooms did receive new paint after we tore down the wallpaper, and this off season they...

Just had an overnight stay at this Inn on our way further up into Maine. We had a lovely large room with a terrace with sun beds which overlooked the river, a double settee to sit on and nice toiletries. A buffet style breakfast was provided which was ample and set us up for the day. Would recommend this place...

Rooms are huge. The views of the river r reminiscent of rural streams on this area. It is good place to rest during your visit to New England. Breakfast is a typical free meal--nothing exceptional. We were on a tour bus and they did deliver our bags. There r lots of stairs to get to your room.

LCtribe, We were very happy to accommodate your group on your scenic bus tour! We do have one of the best views in the area, as the hotel overlooks the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge and where the Ogunquit River meets the Atlantic! We have many rooms types at the property, 2 of the 3 do require stairs. We do offer...

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend after Labor Day which is our favorite time to go to Maine. The room was lovely, neat and clean. Traveling through Ogunquit on our way Down East, we had difficulty finding a hotel that would allow us to stay for just a single night. Most had two night minimum requirements. AHappyTraveler52, I do want to thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your recent stay. Our hotel is one of few which allow one night stays, you are correct.
