My family and I had been going to Papoose Pond for 26 years. My sister and I adopted dogs and needed to get a separate cabin since my parents cabin wasn't "pet friendly." After 26 years, I was kicked out of Papoose Pond because my dog was barking. As previously mentioned, we were at a pet friendly site, the "incident"...

Stayed at Papoose Pond Campground from 9/16/16 to 9/19/16. It was one of the special weekends were the meals were included in the per person price. All-in-all it was a pleasant weekend. We stayed in one of the sites that had an outdoor kitchen and bathroom/shower on site. I must say that this was rather unique and enjoyable. The included...

We stayed here the last week in June. My boyfriend had stayed here as a child, and it was everything he remembered. The site we stayed at had the Kitch-n-bath, which as rustic as it was, spoiled me. Great option, especially being pregnant. Sites are clean and the people are really nice. So many activities, if you like that. Loved...

As the title states, one of the biggest benefits of this campground is that the sites are fairly wooded and you have decent separation from your neighbor(s). There are a sites of course that are exception to this but even those exceptions are much better than 'standard' campgrounds where you are side by side. We tend to stay at state...

This is a really nice and big campground! There is walking trails and one you can go hiking on! There is a swimming pool, which is warm. There is mini golf and volleyball. Thee is also a nice beach where you can float and swim in. You can take a kayak/canoe out and paddle around the lake!

Back in the 80's and 90's we took our three son's here for a week in the middle of the summer. For the last couple of years we have come for both the spring and fall "Escape Weekend" with our granddaughter.. All of your meals are included in the price, and all of the campground amenities (e.g. paddle-boats, kayaks, canoes,...

This was our second stay at Papoose and it was even better this time around. We stayed at HHK 16, a kitchen n' bath tent site up on a hill, for a long weekend. The bathroom was clean and the fire pit has a grill surface for you to use, and you can rent things like mini-fridges and lobster pots...
