I had my wedding at the Bear Moutain Inn. We filled the Inn with Family and Friends and it was the BEST WEDDING EVER. The owners are awesome, really great people who care and are super helpful. They took care of so many details - including securing agreat caterer for our event. I am so happy I had my wedding...

We just returned from a weekend getaway to the wonderful bear mountain inn - The fact that all the reviews here are rated excellent speaks for itself. This is a rambling old inn, with abundant charm, in a lovely setting. What really makes this place special are the in-keepers - we did not have much interaction with Kristie (I imagine...

I was so grateful for a B&B that welcomed children! There are also two "honeymoon suites" for people wanting peace and quiet. The innkeepers were so friendly and down to earth. The rooms are comfortable, some small, others spacious. Most are decorated with a blend of old-fashioned charm and modern style. The grounds are very attractive, with canoeing, hiking, and...

Everything about the Bear Mountain Inn is just perfect. From the hosts, to the breakfast, grounds and rooms, you cant ask for more. It is one of the hidden gems of Maine. My husband and I recently eloped there, and I can honestly say, I would not have changed a thing. I cant wait to go back and visit, and...

My girlfriend and I spent two days here to relax and let go of our tension before I deploy to Iraq for six months. We succeeded! Jim and Christie were fabulous hosts! The grounds are beautiful, especially in the fall. We conoed, took walks and some times just read in the sunshine. Our room room, the Great Grizzly, was the...

This is our second stay at the inn...we had to see it in another season after an amazing four day stay this past July. From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were enveloped by a sense of warmth as Jim the innkeeper greeted us and Izzy the dog escorted us to our cottage. Whether we were relaxing with...

Bear Mountain Inn is everything you would expect from a bed and breakfast. It's clean, cozy, and well maintained. There is a private beach and patio area with fireplace, which overlooks the lake. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful, and customer service is their main objective. We had a wonderful time canoeing and kayaking on the lake. Read my detailed...

We stayed at Bear Mountain Inn for 3 days. What a great place. Jim and his wife were fantastic hosts. It was the perfect place to finish off our Maine vacation. My 4 yr. old son had a blast. Hope to make it back soon. Pete Shaffer

My wife and I stayed at Bear Mountain Inn for 2 nights in mid August 2010. The Inn is in an incredible location: right on a beautiful lake and near the woods. You can use kayaks and paddles or just lay on the private beach, or admire the sunset on the patio if you wish. The building is well manteined...
