When I come to Rockland on business my first choice is always the Hampton Inn & Suites. The rooms are very clean, the location is excellent, and the staff go out of their way to accommodate their guests.
My husband and I checked in for a two day stay on Friday, Oct. 26. We were volunteering at Owls Head Transportation Museum's fall auction next day. Staff was welcoming, room comfortable and clean, and breakfast next morning plentiful and good. Pleasantly surprised to find…
This facility is top drawer for value close to some of the most beautiful places on the coast of Maine ...There are many local restaurants museums antique shops ...Ferry's to local islands. And a lot of locals who will love on you and tell you great tales of Maine folk lore
This hotel has been my goto hotel whenever I am in the Rockland area. Close to downtown, and nearby cities. Rooms are always comfortable and clean, service is always wonderful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast is always a added bonus.
I travel about 90-100 nights a year and stay in the Hilton chain of hotels. The Hampton Inn in Rockland is a simple hotel that is clean and has a great location. Only drawback would be dining choices but otherwise a nice spot.
"Get a room on the west side (back of the hotel) to avoid street noise"
"We stayed on the fourth floor. Quite, clean!"
"Ask for top floor on the backside of the hotel"
"Not sure the front desk would respond if requested"
"Rooms in the back face away from the main road so less noise."
