We visited the Frog again for the first time in a few years and it didn't disappoint. Lovely welcoming atmosphere as always with a roaring fire, lots of locals, excellent beer (the locally brewed Rebellion IPA from Marlow is particularly good) and probably the best fish and chips I've had in a pub fo some while.

A large group of us had lunch at The Frog, after visiting Chiltern Winery, and none of us were disappointed. We were running late but after phoning through was told this was not a problem. Very friendly service, good range of beers, a varied choice on the menu at reasonable prices. Our party had a variety of starters and mains... More

Driving through the lanes towards Marlow we happened upon a great gastro pub. It was busy with a wide range of clients including walkers, cyclists, tourists and locals. Despite being unexpected we were welcomed and accomodated us. The decor was very clean and bistro style in nature with a diverse range of art on the walls among an obvious love... More

I really felt like I had to write a review after our lunch today as we were so disappointed... We love the Frog, and we were really looking forward to introducing our friends to it for Sunday Lunch, but our experience today was so bad. We were made to feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The Landlord 'I assume'... More

Very good food, polite and friendly staff but that's it on + side The pub is a little run down everything looks a little shabby everything appears to be patched up nothing quite fits or works properly We were charged £90 pounds for a double room . If you stayed and then put a price on it then £40 would... More

Stopped here on spec for Sunday lunch, and were accommodated with no difficulty. Husband ordered usual roast beef, and gave a big thumbs up to the quality and quantity of beef. Roasties not quite done to full crispiness, but good selection of veg. I had a hot baguette (BCM) which was really tasty and very filling. We were in a... More

Very pleasant atmosphere and excellent food - the classic fish and chips is the best we've encountered in the area. With 20 years in the kitchen the chef definitely has the hang of it. There is a choice of 3 other very good pub/restaurants within a couple of miles, in our view the Frog tops them for variety and quality.

Skirmett The Frog. Geddit? It took my wife, who is no slouch in the Brain Department, to point this out. Very nice burgers for lunch. This place is a delight in every way. We were quite close to the kitchen and could hear the chef managing his team, so we knew that every meal was being freshly prepared to order.... More

I have eaten here on a number of occasions and has never disappointed. We had lunch in the garden, the tables are spaced well so you are not on top of one another. I had guinea fowl, confit leg, madeira sauce, dauphinois potatoes, wild mushrooms and vegetables. I can honestly say that it was the best meal I have eaten... More

Went out to eat and decided at last minute to try the frog. We were not disappointed with the choice, excellent selection catering for every dietary need. My husband opted for the guineafowl and I chose the veggie option, roasted stuffed squash and we were both very pleased . A little wait but worth every penny. Desserts are to die for. Well... More
