It's a gorgeous place. The setting- perfect. Rooms- clean and furnished well; kitchen- equipped well and dishes are clean. As far as the location- couldn't be better. Literally on the water. You get free use of kayaks, catamaran, row boat etc. the hostess, Debrah, is a sweetheart. One slight con- the breakfast is too basic. But with fully equipped kitchen,... More

Sebago Lake, the south-western-most BIG lake in Maine. Only 30 minutes or less to drive to Portland. My husband and I came here for our Anniversary during Memorial Day weekend, May 2016. We got the "Fishbowl" room, which is the bottom floor of the guest house. Personally, I think we ended up with a better view than if we got... More

Good location on the lake, and I understand the whole rustic lake lodge thing, but I think that's just an excuse in this case to let the place fall apart. All of our windows were broken and propped up with sticks. Water stains all over the place, grimy bathroom and rooms, uncomfortable beds.

It was all we expected and more, the location was beautiful, very close to everything but not to close, I know all the rooms are different ours was just right screened in porch looked right over the lake, room 2a, lots to do, swimming kayaking, canoeing, boat rental, giant outdoor fireplace for night time smores, charcoal grills. Ect. Deborah was... More

The setting is great, the cabins look nicer, and some of the "toys" were fun to use, even if a bit dirty and worn. We oped for the "big house" in room 5 - in the old original building which has been modified over the decades. Some ear-plug "rustic" squeaks and wear was to be expected - or even looked... More

We recently stayed at the cottage called the Pines. We absolutely loved it! We were overlooking the lake and because of the positioning of the cabin we felt secluded from the other cottages. It was the perfect location! The cottage was adorable! Very homey, and clean! The first night there we were able to sit on our screened in porch... More

We stayed three nights while visiting friends who have a camp on the lake. We are not breakfast people so the continental breakfast was ample and the coffee was delicious. They also have a nice selection of tea. Unfortunately we were too busy to take advantage of the kayaks and fire pit but it was a lovely location.

Superb location on the lake with charm of cottage country and yet very close to shopping and facilities. These rustic cabins have wonderful lake views and access. Very helpful and welcoming management! A great place to relax in an authentic setting.

We stayed in the Boathouse Cottage - a literal boathouse built over the water. Best view of the lake from the screened in back porch. Best moments - Mornings with coffee and homemade breakfast on the porch. Canoe and kayaks available to use any time. Owner was delightful and very helpful as we planned a day in Portland. Such a... Hostess was very accommodating and the cottage was very comfortable and the view was spectacular. The location was close to everything we needed. Our extended family was in the area for a wedding and the cottage we had was large enough to accommodate everyone when breakfast and dinner came around.
