The first glaring issue is the dirty condition of our rental-one bathroom was not useable due to the mold and mildew. In addition, we had to wash the dishes, countertops, tables-pretty much every surface upon arrival. Overuse of Fabreze does not cover up the foul smells. For the prices charged, this is a rip-off. The photos on the website are really not representative of the cottages whatsoever-hoping this review is helpful to those considering a stay here-believe me-there are better options elsewhere!

The setting is beautiful. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us. No presence of anyone at the lodge. Doorknob was falling off. The lodge is rundown and not well maintained. Room was clean. Mattress covered in plastic cover which we had to remove as it woke us up every time we rolled over. Smell in room was musty but we expected this with the e proximity to the lake. No hot water for shower after my husband took his shower. Working on plumbing and water turned off without any warning. Non smoking facility but someone was smoking weed every night. No way to get extra towels or know where trash could be discarded. My sister rented one of the small cottages and her place was very nice. My brother rented a room in the guest house which was bad- I could not have stayed there

Sebago Lake Lodge is perched on a hill over looking the lake. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. If you are looking for a quirky Maine camp, this is it. We stayed in the main house in a room with a screened in sunporch, which we enjoyed. Debra, the owner, was charming and gracious, as were her lovely dogs Enzo and Zara. We enjoyed our stay!

First complaint is the website makes it look in a lot better shape than it is. Most units are without air conditioning-one 5000 btu window unit does not work in 2 level 1200 sq ft house. Very humid and musty in side. A set of wobbly stairs leading into the water is what is considered a beach. Grounds are poorly maintained with weeds and bushes growing into walkways and a trip hazard. Most units are on a steep grade with no rails . Definitely not for the mobility or cardiac impaired. Try to visit before committing your money and you will be happy you did.

This NE style lodge located right on the lake. Lodge has a cute (small) beach for the kids and canoes available for free. Deborah the inn keeper is super nice and makes you feel at home. Very close to shopping areas and great restaurants.

Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm smile and very welcoming feel . We are then shown two adorable rooms both with private porch’s to enjoy, Our choice of rooms. With a short walk to the dock for fishing , swimming, kayaking or just watching boats pass . What a nice location to everything you could want for food and daily activities. As our adventure took us on a jet ski at long lake . Very easy parking .i would recommend them to all my family and friends as I will definitely be returning.

Very well done little cabins except the bed and bathroom, and TV. The bed mattress is about 4” thick, lumpy, and hard as a rock. I met another couple, checking out at the same time and they said there’s was the same, resulting in little sleep and lots of back pain. The shower plumbing was leaking pretty significantly and wrapping a hand towel around the base was necessary to prevent flooding the room. Also, definitely a set up for those under 5’5” tall. Since I don’t watch a lot of TV, a 24” screen was ok. If I did, in this price range, that would of not been good.

Don’ Walk away from this horrific place RUN! Totally not for people with mobility issues- rocky & hilly! stairs makes a so called swim area inaccessible- railings falling off stairs wobbly. Dangerous for adults and children. Dangerous swim area for kids due to close watercraft moving through bridge. Ants in beds No air conditioning that is suitable to cool run down cottages. Owner told us to close windows in upstairs 🤣what !!! She doesn't Know heat rises. 🥵 No laundry facilities need to go to town. Broken screens mosquitoes rampant. Stayed in 2 cottages over 2 weeks. Lakehouse and Boathouse. Lakehouse larger somewhat renovated but still only 2 bedrooms! Boathouse was deplorable ceiling water stains ceiling looked as though it could have been mold! Kitchen no counter space 5x5’ Bathroom shower floor soft feels like it wants to collapse of which there was water underneath an authentic boathouse in desperate need of repair or tear down. Toilet original you need to sit sideways on due to toilet paper holder so close you would scratch your back on it. Again ants! Terrible bed too high to get up on only a full size mattress with foam pads to soften. Pull out coach has steel bar that makes it unsleepable. Reported to Debbie the owner we were leaving before our end date she stated “ so you’ve had enough!” My answer to her was “yes I have had enough... the sleeping conditions are the worst I have ever experienced in 68 years and I am well traveled!” We spent about $4000 for 2 weeks. People were pleasant enough but the places I rented and the grounds were definitely not worth it. I would never recommend this place.

Sebago Lake Lodge and Cabins is a lovely conglomerate of cute cabins and large lake guesthouse. The cabins seem to only rent by the week, but the guesthouse May be rented by the night. The rooms are small, but clean and cute. Each one has its own screened in porch overlooking the lake. They have canoes and kayaks to be used for free and at night, they provide wood and an area for a bonfire. We canoed and found wild blueberries along the banks of the river. The water was clear and cool for swimming. Our room also came with a kitchenette. I think it’s a mistake to assume you could cook a meal there, but to prepare some sides while you grill outdoors seems reasonable.

We spent a very pleasant week at this relaxing lakeside cottage. Our screened-in porch overlooked the lake, and it was great to just sit back and watch the water and the boats go by. It's a perfect spot for a kakyak or canoe ride. We also found some good restaurants and recreation nearby. We would definitely visit again!
