These cottages were the perfect place to stay during a week long trip to Acadia National Park. They were clean, well-equip with the typical things you would need for a week long stay (such as pots and pans, coffee filters, toiletries, and other kitchen items) and nicely set back from the main road. In terms of location, they are literally...

We’re glad you enjoyed the cottages and our convenient location. We’re sorry you felt like you did not have the opportunity to visit longer with your sister. However, you had never informed us that an additional group of guests would be staying on the property in their van when you registered. Because your sister and her boyfriend were not registered...

We had an amazing honeymoon in Maine, and these cottages were a perfect tranquil home base to explore Mount Desert Island in its entirety. These were recommended by a friend, and I am happy to say we would definitely do the same! Tom and Vicki were great and the cottages were clean and cozy.

We had a delightful stay at the Acadia Cottages. From the moment we arrived the owners were prompt and attentive. We stayed in a studio cottage, while it is a bit small, it is laid out in away that maximizes space. The kitchen had two burners and all of the pots, pans and utensils you need for cooking your own...

These cottages are the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate. They are extremely clean, stocked with everything you need and located in a private wooded area within walking distance of town. The owner was so pleasant and we so enjoyed our stay. We would love to return soon!

Our family enjoyed the gorgeous environment, immaculate cottages, and tremendous hosts. My husband is an extremely light sleeper, and we often have trouble finding places to stay that are quiet enough. Acadia cottages, although close to town, are extremely quiet. I can not think of anything that would have made it a better place to stay. We are not from...

While Heaven provided us with perfect Maine weather, Tom and Vickie Zacharias added wonderful cottages, quiet, places for meeting together, variety of things to do, New England charm, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. When we saw the location of the cabins just off the main street of SW Harbor, we were afraid it would be noisy and "touristy." But instead...

Wonderful home-away-from-home, wonderful hosts. We stayed in cottage 15 with our sons in next-door cottage 14. The cabins are amazingly quiet and secluded for being within easy walking distance of quaint downtown SWHarbor and the marina across the road. Loved the new fire pit and waterfall!

A peaceful, quiet, clean & friendly atmosphere. Nice place to jump off the world for awhile. Great restaurants and quaint shops in SW Harbor & a short drive takes you to Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when staying in Acadia.
