To fully enjoy Acadia, either you camp, or lodge here. Tom and Vicki have made this corner of the Southwest harbor an idillic cozy paradise. Quite, quaint, safe, very comfortable, very well built, with both a rustic tone and a slight modern concept. You only need to bring yourselves, and luggage... The rest is there! Located far from town noise,...

My husband and I stayed at Acadia Cottages over Memorial Day weekend. We wanted to stay on the quieter side of Mount Desert Island. We liked the cabin feel with modern amenities such as a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable with a quality mattress. At the end of each day we looked forward to returning for a good...

My daughter and I stayed for a week. The cottage was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Nice quiet location. Management was wonderful. They even provided shampoo and body wash. Campfires a few times a week. Close to everything in town.

My husband and I honeymooned here nearly 6 years ago and still have very fond memories. The owner was passionate about his work and very knowledgeable about local hiking, tides, food, and entertainment. Also, Fiddlers' Green restaurant across the street was quite delicious and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We really appreciated the cottage's earth-conscious efforts, such as...

We enjoy hosting all our guests, but we especially enjoy hosting couples that are celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary, or other special occasion. We added a fire ring since your last visit. We look forward to seeing you around the campfire!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Acadia National Park. It is located in a quiet area, which was nice since the park was extremely busy. Several cruise ships and too many to count tour buses. We liked going to the park in the morning and going back to Southwest Harbor in the afternoon to avoid the crowds in...

I stayed in #11 and would highly recommend this studio type cabin. The cabins are located a little bit of a drive away from the main parts of the national park, but think the quiet locstion, and cabins, are worth it. There are also some lovely psrts of the park not far away, inlcuding a good hiking loop. Cabins are...

We loved our stay at Acadia cottages. The cottage itself is very nicely maintained... Crisp sheets and towels, updated design, very clean. The studios have a stand up shower- no tub, but still very nice. Kitchenette with everything you might need (except an oven), all in great condition. We enjoyed the short walk into town, exploring hikes and restaurants outside...

We stayed at a studio cottage for three nights, and loved it. It was a spectacular base from which to explore Acadia National Park, and had great hikes and kayaking outfitters very close by. The cottage, which is clean and cozy, is beautifully lined in rustic wood that glows in the light. Our cottage faced the woods, which felt really...

We had a terrific stay at the Acadia Cottages for 4 nights. The owners' son was very nice and polite with us during the check in process. Other than that initial interaction we did not deal with the owners, since we did not ask their advice on anything and we were very much allowed to have our privacy during our...
