On our way home to the Midwest from a week of camping at Acadia NP in Maine, we stayed at this KOA for 2 days. The campground is nestled in amongst tall pines and aspen trees. I think nearly every site was shaded. The gravel sites are mostly level. We were greeted by friendly staff and escorted us to our... More

Arrived late without a reservation. Was denied night registration for tent. Rvs only allowed after hours. Really? Has to be a management call as koa in general has always been a beacon in the night for weary travelers. Very disappointing this location!

we stayed in SL7 Delux studio Cabin. It's a end cabin with a small table, microwave, small back room with built in bunk beds, microwave, small sink, bed, and bathroom. It also has a charcoal gill and log cabin style chairs, and swing around the fire ring. It was a full house but quiet. Even with the many dogs that... More

We took advantage of the KOA 'buy one night, get one free' weekend. Having never been in the Old Orchard Beach area, we pre registered. They have 12 noon check in, which is good, so many campgrounds won't let you check in until mid afternoon, which we don't like. There appears to be two sides of the campground. Our site... More

This has to be one of the nicest KOA campgrounds we have stayed at. Working our way north to Bar Harbor, we stayed overnight. The grounds are spotless and all of the staff must have attended advanced hospitality training. Our pull-thru site was perfect. Although we only spent one night we will probably send a couple of days here on... More

The area is beautiful and relaxing. The staff at the camp are friendly and helpful. The campgrounds are clean and well maintained. The hot tub in the relaxing atmosphere was a great bonus. The trolley was nice to have but everything was in easy drivinh distance.

This KOA is wonderful. Its located near a main road, but you would hardly know it with how peaceful and wooded the campground is, especially in the back sections. There's tons of tall trees which provided great shade at our site and kept our cabin relatively cool all day even in 85 degree weather. The cabins are very clean and... More

Great job to the staff. It the cleanest campground I have ever been. We have been camping for over 35 years. The location is good ,many things to do around the area. A trolley to beach. Very nice campground ,we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here on our trip and found this place to be quite nice. Sites were nice and wide for slide outs and most that I saw were pull thrus for large RV. Bath houses were always clean and well stocked. The Pancake breakfast was totally over the top, tasty and good value for dollar spent. Staff always seemed to... More

We have been camping here for a long time, but the changes in management and the recent acquisition by Sun seem to have changed things for the worst. The prices have gone up significantly, most likely to pay for the large houses that they have recently added as well as the pool/hot tub improvements. I'd say the pool/hot tub improvements... More
