We loved this place. Quaint and full of character and our room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting in the sun outside enjoying the gorgeous views. Owner Marjie was so welcoming and dinner in the restaurant absolutely delicious, matched by an equally tasty breakfast next morning. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Thanks for the compliments, we are glad you enjoyed your stay (and everyone enjoys Steve's cooking!) Autumn is a special time to visit Rangeley. Keep us in mind for future visits, whether it be Spring, Summer and/or winter. Margie

The staff and main areas were nice. Food was good. Beware of rooms. Don't know if all rooms are the same but the room we had in main building was extremely outdated and small. Beds appeared to be inexpensive models. Building was built in 1950 and been years (maybe decades) since remodeled.

Good morning...thank you for the feedback on your stay. The rooms are small, but the Inn has lots of comfy seating areas, fireplaces and decks to spread out and enjoy your stay. We continually work on purchasing new mattresses, beds and bedding each spring and fall to keep up to date with our 20 guests rooms. We would love to...

Innkeeper Margie was very welcoming, in emails before my visit and during my visit. I only stayed here one night, getting a feel of the place as a possibility for a longer family vacation. I know we would definitely like it here. The room was simple, clean and basic, as expected. Nice view looking downhill toward the lake. Dinner was...

We appreciate your feedback, and we agree...Rangeley is still one of those special gems left in the world surrounded by views, wildlife and endless skies. The Country Club Inn is a great place for family vacations, reunions, etc., and we do offer special prices for groups, so please be sure to inquire about those rates. Thanks for the comments. My husband and I were here in August. A respite for two nights from camping in the rain. The Innkeepers take great care in making sure their guests are comfortable. Its casual, open door policy to the main gathering areas or I should say anything you need. They staff the bar until about 9PM. They will hang out with you...

Thanks for the comments and compliments and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at the Inn. And we were glad to accommodate you in the pub with your private BBQ dinner, while the golf group took over the dining room. Rangeley, as well as our Inn, are pretty specials places during all four seasons of the year, and we...

My husband and I visited the Rangeley Lakes region to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary last week. The summer crowds were gone, and we really relished the peacefulness. We were warmly greeted by the inn owner, Margie, who was a lovely and gracious hostess during our entire stay. She gave us the honeymoon room (#10) and I loved the rustic...

Peter and Rochele, thanks for the compliments, especially the one about the loons. I know that was a priority for your visit. We are starting to see the leaves change colors everyday now and I hope you saw a bit of this on your way home. Please continue to enjoy these autumn months and we look forward to seeing you...

My husband and I just spent 2 nights with Margie and Steve the owners. I can't express how much walking into the Country Club Inn feels like walking into youre own home. Incredibly welcoming and they truly make you feel as if they know you even if it's a first visit, which ours was. It was our 28th wedding anniversary...

Rick & Chris...we appreciate your thoughtful comments, and it is folks like you who make our job of inn keeping so enjoyable. We did think of you this Sunday, when once again New England fared well with wins by both the Pats and the Sox! We look forward to seeing you in future visits to Rangeley, ME. Margie

My sister and I had a great stay here; the lobby and restaurant were fun to hang out in and offered beautiful views of Rangeley lake and mountains beyond. The innkeepers couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful with directing us to local attractions. I never ate dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was excellent, I chose thet...

This very nice inn was a perfect stop on our motorcycle trip through Maine. Very friendly and welcoming by the couple who own and operate it. The setting is perfect with glorious views of the lake and mountains. It has a terrific dining room, and full bar. We are looking forward to returning for another visit.

We chose Rangeley specifically to see moose, and stayed here during the busiest weekend of the summer, and Foreigner was in town!
