Staff friendly and helpful. Room 111 on first floor clean and pleasant, but smelled like a gym. Either no fan in bathroom,or not working. We've eaten better breakfasts for free in cheaper hotels - this breakfast costs $10 and is terrible.

We booked a room here last minute over Memorial Day weekend. It is extremely reasonable, clean and the staff is friendly. It was only a couple minutes to downtown Portland as well. The rooms are a little outdated, but we didn't find any major issues and did see they were remodeling the 2nd floor. Would definitely stay here again on...

We loved our two-night stay at the Clarion this past week. We found the place on hotels.com, the rate couldn't be beat! When we checked in the two women working the front desk got us in early, gave us a map of Portland and pointed out some great places that we ended up loving! They rooms were spacious and very...

The hotel was fine. Nothing special, nothing bad. Did have an older feel to it, so it could do with an upgrade. Very convenient if you have a car. Two minor issues I somehow overlooked; shuttle stopped running at about 11 pm, so we had to get a taxi when our flight was delayed, and breakfast is not included. That...

Stayed one night and it was perfectly adequate. The room was clean although had a musty smell and side drape was drooping due to broken grommet. No breakfast included; however, there was a good buffet for $10 each (we decided to eat elsewhere). I had terrible problems with the internet connection and called front desk around 7pm. The front desk...

We stayed at this hotel for an overnight while in Portland. The price met our budget and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The lobby was fresh and welcoming and it was great to have a small bar and restaurant within the hotel. The room appeared newly renovated along with new furniture. Our bed was quite comfortable...

Our group stays here every three years when we meet in the Northeast. The staff here is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are great. Our meals here have been very good. The location is perfect and close to Portland restaurants and nightlife.

For $109 you get a room and 7 days of parking. Great for a March break trip. Note you have to book at the hotels website to get the park n fly rate, otherwise it is your rate and $6 a day. The shuttle to the airport was quick and friendly as was the pick up. I was really impressed...

Second year in a row that we have spent my daughters birthday at the Portland Clarion. Rooms were spacious and clean, Don Lema and the entire hotel staff went out of their way to ensure my daughter enjoyed her special day. We will definitely come back!

The hotel is in need of a few updates, but was overall comfortable for the price. The front desk staff was amazing. He knew the local area well and provided us with wonderful food recommendations. He was even so kind to provide us maps to our next destinations.
