Loved this place! My flight was five hours late to land, so I didn't end up arriving at the inn until 11 o'clock. I was still able to get in with the door code, and a welcome letter was left for me at the entrance. I did call ahead of time to warn that I would be late, and the...

Only an hour away from home, the Percy is the ideal spot for getaway weekends or just a night on the town. Centrally located within walking distance of great food and a myriad of venues. The most accommodating staff ready to meet your every need. A charming townhouse style building with its own private parking provides an excellent alternative to...

I didn't actually end up staying here. This is purely a review on the [lack of] customer service. My husband and I booked a room for 2 nights far in advance. 2 months prior, we learned we would need to cancel the reservation due to some family issues. 1. I called the phone number and got the owner who was...

We were originally going to book a very expensive place when I found this gem which happened to be super close to the venue we were going to. This place is so adorable and awesome. All the rooms are named after authors. Stayed in John Keats, there's a tv with hundreds of movies, wifi, heat, fridge with soda stocked. The...

We live in southern Maine and had a wedding in Portland so we wanted to spend just one night. Most bed and breakfasts require a 2 night weekend stay, but the Percy Inn had one room that allowed one night so I grabbed it. We are quite familiar with the area and enjoy the west end. The building is beautiful...

So glad I stumbled upon the Percy Inn while looking for places to stay in Portland. Within walking distance from many west end Portland shops, cafes, restaurants, and sites. We stayed in mid-November, so it was cold outside, but the walk to places like Coffee by Design or Blue was very easy, in a safe neighborhood too. They were very...

We stayed 2 nights in the Wadsworth suite. The room was large and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed meeting Cindy who was a great help with local attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was more of a continental style, but was good for us. Great stay overall.

We stayed in the Longfellow suite and it had the complete works of Longfellow's writings. The room was nicely furnished and included snacks and sodas in our refrigerator. Breakfasts were included and were very good. Pie for breakfast is a great idea and very tasty. The people who worked at the inn were very nice and helpful. Parking was free....

Our group of 12 friends arrived at The Percy Inn on August 8, 2015. It was surprising to us that the owner/host was not available to greet guests who in effect were going to occupy the entire inn for the weekend. We also felt that a warning about the number and width of steps to the third floor rooms would...

What a wonderful find in Portland! Great location, within walking distance of practically everything you want to do and every great restaurant. The breakfast was nice and served between 8am-10am, great for some of us who rise a little later than others. The pantry was open 24 hours and filled with breads, yogurts, and snacks. The room was homey and...
