Friendly staff, clean rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows( I have a bad back and i slept great). Nice pool and very quiet hotel with literally no road noise.
I will be back, as this was our 2nd stay at this hotel.
The hotel itself has a musty, old smell. My mother compared it to a nursing home. But other than that, the pool is fantastic, the rooms and beds are comfortable and well decorated. Well worth t if you are dropping into town for a few...More

The campus is quite safe. Police on campus and in the town of Orono are always out patrolling the area and there are emergency beacons throughout campus (with a dedicated 24/7 campus police force as well). Orono, by and large, has a pretty low crime rate.
Cold weather on campus affects student life in the same way it would anywhere else. Though there is a shuttle that services campus, freedom to travel to off-campus locations is pretty limited without a car. As such, winter driving can be an issue if you are not familiar with driving in the snow. Regardless, the roads are pretty well taken care of, especially on campus.
Thank you for your interest in our beautiful town!
