#31 of 35 hotels in Ogunquit
Travellers' Choice
The Abalonia is an 1840's New England style farmhouse that has been lovingly restored with particular attention to the period detail, including the original post and beams. The Ideal Location: Abalonia is located right in the center of the village, only one block to the Ogunquit beach and the entrance to the Marginal Way (Ogunquit's famous cliff walk leading to Perkins Cove). Yet, the Abalonia is set back from the road, has open gardens so guests are able to peacefully enjoy being in the heart of the village, with its famous restaurants, clubs, and historic movie cinema. Amenities Include: All inn rooms have new Flat Screen TVs, individually controlled air conditioners, wireless internet, and heat. Our rooms have either one king size bed or one queen size bed. All rooms have private baths. We understand it is not easy checking out places online and figuring which one is right for you. If you want an inn that is clean, friendly, and in a great location, you have found your home in Ogunquit! Abalonia is the quintessential Maine coast lodging experience and a proud member of the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce, Maine Innkeepers Association, and Maine Tourism Association.

Adorable place right on the main street within walking distance of many restaurants and the Marginal Way. The room was lovely, cozy, clean. There is an outside fire pit and we have a lovely time sitting there at night with wine. The owners were charming and helpful. In particular, I left my Rolex in the room by mistake. One of the owners found it and called me to return it. This level of honesty deserves recognition. It would have been easy to keep it, but they are presently going out of their way to get it back to me. Anytime I go to this area, I will make a point to stay with them- for the charm and the honesty.

Room Tip: We had a walk-up room on the second floor, but it was easy to navigate. Clean, cozy, quiet...

Abalonia Inn was an excellent choice! We have been coming to Ogunquit for many years staying at various houses, motels and inns. Abalonia checked all the boxes... location, comfort, amenities, and cost. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We will book at The Abalonia again!

You can’t beat the location of the Abalonia! It is convenient to town, beach and the Marginal Way. Jesse was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I didn’t love being on the first floor by parking without a porch; however it was quiet and there is a common area porch close by. I would stay here again!

We stayed for a get-away for 4 nights at this lovely, old New England inn. I have no criticism, no complaints only compliments. The entire place is super clean, attention paid to detail. The room was very comfortable, great nights sleep. The Inn is in the heart of Ogunquit with easy walking access to everything, Ogunquit Beach, The Marginal Way and all the great shops and restaurants. The pool, hot tub, fire pit are all well maintained. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the quiet and comfortable afternoons and evenings. We highly recommend The Abalonia Inn and look forward to returning!!!!! The owner, Jesse is especially helpful with any needs or accomodations you may have.

Nice inn. Rooms were very clean. Grounds were decent too (Fireplace, Hot Tub, Swimming pool). Located right in downtown area. Plenty of places to eat/shop within walking distance. Beach right around the corner. Hosts were great too. Would return if we visit the area again.
