Hubby and I had enough of Covid Lockdown and hanging around the house, with only fertive forays to the grocery store. We needed long horizons and comfort, and were delighted that Juniper Hill was open in a limited fashion (rooms in one wing, limited attention from cleaning staff, no coffee or breakfast snacks.) It was good enough for us. Every staff member we enountered was appropriate to Covid precautions, but there was a real smile and happy tone to their greetings. It was no big deal to make our own bed, or leave our towels at the door. Some days we seemed to be the only guests around, but we felt safe, warm, and cozy. An we had such easy access to the beach for long walks, fresh sea breezes, and long vistas. Our great thanks to them all for making it possible.

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I went back to Ogunquit Labor Day weekend after being there about a month before, both times staying at the JHI. We stayed there in 2019 too. We have decided that this will be "our hotel" for our annual trip(s) to Ogunquit. The staff is very friendly, the hotel itself and our rooms have been extremely clean and well-kept and very easily accessible as well. With the pandemic still in full-force, we've felt safe and had no issues. You can't beat the location, we arrive and park our car for the entire time, being able to walk across the street for breakfast, walk to the beach and not have to pay for parking (like we used to when staying elsewhere), walk into the village each night for dinner it is very very convenient. I cannot comment on the pool as we are beach-lovers and haven't been in the pool but it looks very nice. Thank you again JHI for a great stay - looking forward to our trip in 2021!

Last week my husband and I, two daughters and their three kids spent two nights at the Inn -- swimming in the pool (informally taking turns with other families to reduce COVID risk), walking to the beach and downtown (both are close enough for even the youngest to walk without complaining), and getting takeout from the fabulous Greenery Cafe right across the street and pizza deliveries from La Pizzeria. Location isn't the only wonderful thing -- the staff was welcoming and helpful from our reservation on the phone to checkout. We've also visited around Thanksgiving when the indoor pool was a wonderful gift, and in the summer when the outdoor pools are open -- and we'll be back soon.

We always enjoy our stay at Juniper Hill! It’s VERY clean and the front desk is always so helpful and friendly. We love the path and walk to the footbridge and it’s a short walk to downtown. Won’t be our last visit!

We were pleased with our room, very quiet and clean. Check in was easy, the girl at the desk was friendly and welcoming. They did follow guidelines for cleaning. We usually stay at their other property which was closed but would return to Juniper Hill for a fall stay.
