We arrived on a very hot day...89-degrees. Suite 7 was large ,well appointed , and had air conditioning. Beds comfy, no complaints about room. The lake is pretty, relaxing g. The restaurant however was another story. We went early to the grill /bar. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a Cuban. Then we waited and waited and waited. Only... More

i just visited the Big Moose In this weekend with family and friends to go white water rafting, The cabin was clean and perfect for what we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable, especially in the living room/Kitchen. The food was excellent, the service not so much. We found ourselves(13 of us) waiting for long periods of time... More

My girlfriend and I were excited for our stay at the Inn after spending the day hiking and enjoying Northern Maine's gorgeous scenic landscape. The Inn appeared to be exactly what we wanted, however, it was anything but. First, the room. It was sold to us as a "suite" but that merely comprised of two separate double beds and a... More

The Big Moose Inn was the best place to stay after hiking Katahdin. We stayed in suite 6 and just loved it. The bed was comfortable, shower was nice with good water pressure, and it is the closest place to the entrance of Baxter Park. There is a restaurant within the inn that was a god send after hiking for... More

Family and I stayed at Big Moose Inn this past weekend. This place offers camping, cabins and traditional Inn accommodation, shared bathrooms. There's also a very nice dining room, breakfast included when staying at the Inn, as well as a bar and grill room. Comfortable accommodation, shared bathrooms were clean and worked out well. Overall, a very comfortable inn with... More

Awesome B&B. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and willing to help in any way. The food was excellent. So much more than we expected and the rooftop bar was the best! Can't wait to come back again!

A great place to stay as a gateway to outdoor fun near Baxter. We stayed in a small and I mean Small cabin. Our party if 5 adults-parents and 3 adult children had to get used to the lack of privacy and small accommodations which really wasn't that hard given we are there to spend time outside not in the... Great location - as close as you can stay in full hotel comfort near Baxter State Park. My room was tiny, but charming and had A/C. All the furniture was antique (ish?) and the bed was super comfy. No TV, but that's not really the point (although great wi-fi). The bar and grill downstairs was a happening spot with good... More

We stayed in suite #2 and enjoyed the small but we'll appointed room very much. The bathroom was generously sized, well equipped and everything was nice and clean. This inn stays pretty clean for a place that hosts campers/hikers/rafters all summer long - the staff does a great job and went out of their way to help me with printing... More
