Lovely place, delightful rooms and charming innkeeper, Caroline, who served gourmet breakfasts! She also recommended great places to dine in Camden, though the "season " hadn't started yesterday! Will definitely come back someday!

Our hostess, Caroline, was always on hand to help us find wonderful pubs and eateries in the area. The next day after we arrived, I got up early to go to her breakfast room to sip tea and look at some of the historic illustrated books she had collected about the area. It was snowing ever so lightly and she...

This is one of those places you hoped you could keep for yourself, but seems like the words out and thought I'd finally review VBTS even though I've been going for a few years now. Yes, the breakfast is special, and yes the rooms are splendid, although technically I've only stayed in the large suite. As Camden gets busier, it's...

We stayed here 15 years ago with our young daughters and under a different innkeeper. The property is lovely, a yard and porch overlooking Penobscot bay. Caroline, the new innkeeper, is a sweetheart. She'd lived in Switzerland for over 20 years and served a delightful breakfast of a combination of Maine blueberry pancakes and local apple cider with muesli and...

My husband and I spent our first night here on the way to Bar Harbor. The house and the gardens are just lovely and Caroline, the Innkeeper, was very accommodating. She also cooks a delicious breakfast. Our room was on the first floor and had very comfortable twin beds and a fireplace. We fell asleep with a fake log burning-...

The house is well maintained with a history of love and laughter- this directly translated to the quality of our stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay and clear the cobwebs left by the...

Every detail down to the floral china and full, home cooked breakfast with homemade pastries, fresh berries and a surprise egg dish every morning. Wake-up to birds, drink your morning coffee or tea on the back porch dappled with morning sunshine. Host do everything to make you feel special and welcome. A rare treat for anyone looking to be treated...

Charming, historical home in a gorgeous and peaceful location, minutes away from all the activity in Camden. We stayed in the Bay room (#3) with a good view of the water. In fact, our first morning we took our cup of coffee and strolled down to the rocky beach. Breakfast was as beautiful in presentation as it was delicious and...
