My husband and I stayed at the Lincolnville Motel for one night over Labor Day weekend. We arrived late and our little cabin was ready and waiting for us. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and perfectly minimal in design. With a comfy bed, a nice shower, and a little record collection to play on the turn table, it was by...

We were on a long trip from Montana to Maine and decided to stay off the interstate as much as possible. We also decided to stay in small motels rather than chain hotels. We always check Trip Advisor for ratings. We do our own bookings because we want to talk to the owners/managers personally. We stopped in to this beautifully...

This is a lovely review, but alas it is not for the Lincolnville Motel. We do hope to someday serve breakfast and wish Ed and Christine the best for their business.

This place is everything: ocean views, lovely pool, so many spaces to curl up or hang out. A clear, clean, refined aesthetic and a true appreciation of everything the area has to offer. The Lincolnville Motel is the exact right balance between luxury and summer camp. Every detail has been thought through with incredible care--from the Tocca bath products to...

We came upon the Lincolville Motel while looking for someplace affordable and that had a vacancy near Camden Maine. While it's called a motel, the rooms are actually separate cottages. Each cottage boasts new furnishings and is filled with Scandinavian charm. The cottages have private porches that look out onto a grassy field with the ocean just past a line...

The rooms were outdated. Cheap motel for a moderate price. Disappointed. Did not feel secure as door locks were weak and patio window did not lock. Stains in the sink and shower. would not recommend. Could not see water as name would suggest. No place to take a walk. Nothing in the area to do. No TV.

This was a get-away for me and my wife, and we wanted to be close to Camden without the Camden prices. We also needed a pet friendly accommodation since we had to take our dog. I was apprehensive after reading some earlier reviews, but it was too good a fit for us to pass up. Our cabin was actually better...

Abbington is close to Camden, which is charming, Mt. Battie, and many other terrific places. We were in a motel-style room on the second floor with view of the pool and the sea. There was a balcony with a couple chairs. Our room was motel-typical in decor, although larger than most. I'd thought I'd requested a cottage, and could have...

I stayed in a very reasonably priced, simple cottage and it was just what I expected. With one exception......the hosts were so wonderfully kind, considerate and went out of their way to accommodate an unexpected situation. Not that I don't come across nice people in my travels, but Seth and Jessica were beyond helpful and sweet. I would recommend this...

Abbington's is a great, affordable motel in the Lincolnville/Camden area. We stayed in cottage #7 which had a coffee maker, mini fridge, private deck with view of the water, a queen, and two twin beds. This is a great cottage for a family or a small group of friends. The 1950s cottages are homey, comfortable, and clean. The service provided...

We had hoped to camp in Camden Hills State Park as we traveled down the coast but because of a 2-night minimum for Labor Day weekend we reserved a water view cottage Abbington's for the night. We were expecting rustic Maine charm (we'd been camping all week so our standards weren't high), but what we got was more like a...
