no tv, fridge, microwave, coffee, or even a phone in the room to reach the front desk. used my cell phone to call the desk, no answer after many tries. After I called 6 times in a 30 minute period, i finally got an answer....More
We stayed here on an ATV backpack trip in September. The Hotel is a gem and very well maintained. The room was very clean & reasonable priced. The bed was not overly comfortable. Our room was in the front of the hotel and traffic was...More

This is an old hotel that shows it's age, both good and bad. Wonderful woodwork details, large comfortable lobby, wide stairway and antiques scattered around the hallways. It's age shows in the bathrooms, carpeting, some of the furniture and a lack of amenities. We've stayed there to ski Sugarloaf, only when other lodging is unavailable. It's okay for a few nights. The prices reflect that.
If you're looking for plush luxury accommodations for cheapo prices, you're going to be constantly disappointed.
