Marianne and Rodolfo are the perfect hosts! Their historic house a short walk from dock square was the ideal spot to hole up in after long walks in the rain, and the tapas style house-made breakfasts are way beyond the standard continental fare. Looking forward to another visit!

Rodolpho and Marianne were superb in pleasing us for our stay. After being denied our reservation at another B&B we were pleased to stay at Captain Fairfield. Pretty quiet room combined with an excellent breakfast made our stay that much more lovely. Perfectly located and extremely well run. Great Inn Keepers!

Our wonderful experience began when we turned the corner in a breathtakingly lovely historic neighborhood and saw the Captain Fairfield Inn B&B. I said," Oh wow I would love to stay there!" and then we saw the sign and realized WE WERE. This was our destination! Rodolfo and Marianne are the most gracious and kind innkeepers we have ever met;...

We enjoyed our stay at Captain Fairfield Inn. Good value, and lovely small touches such as Lindt chocolates in the room, complimentary tea, coffee station with delicious cookies, complimentary soft drinks, fire pits lit in the garden each evening, and Apple TV available in each room. Only negative for us was the "curated small plate" breakfast selection that is brought...

I've stayed in many B&Bs and this one, hands down, is my favorite.Rodolpho and Marianne were a charming host couple. Breakfast was tapas-style with a wonderful selection from which to choose. Walking distance to shops, a wonderful fire pit for the evening...fantastic!

I loved the little touches, such as the guest pantry, free water, fresh baked cookies, coffee, tea, and the fire pit outside. Breakfast was delicious and interesting, Marianne was...

Captain Fairfield Inn is on a quiet street surrounded by beautiful historic homes. It is only a short walk to Dock Square where you can find shops, restaurants and beautiful views of the water. The inn is very comfortable and the breakfasts are really unique and quite good. They put out small plates of a wide variety of breakfast foods....

This is a lovely inn situated near the bay and the village of Kennebunkport. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The outdoor area with the gas fireplace is a beautiful area to sit in the early evening in the fall. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented.

We took our first trip to Maine and were rewarded with two great stays - Whitehall in Camden and Captain Fairfield in Kennebunkport. Unbeknownst to us, both are owned by Lark hotels. We loved the majestic colonial building that stood in contrast to its modern decorated interior. The beds, pillows and everything else in the room were top notch. Our...
