Family style neighborhood like with cottages that look like homes. Options are, 1 or 2 story 2 bedroom cottages or studio bungalows. One of the best restaurants around, hip bar scene w/valet included. Beautiful setting, decor and ambiance. Happy hour. Garden on site, guests can...More
Our one bedroom bungalow was totally outstanding: it was beautifully designed, spacious, comfy and quiet!!!!! The screened porch with its double-sized chaise lounge and an additional outdoor shower were the icing(s) on the cake. A breakfast "basket" with coffee in a thermos delivered daily to...More
My wife and I visited Hidden Pond last weekend and we had high expectations based on our review of their website. I am happy to announce that our expectations were exceeded!
We arrived and were checked in without delay. When we walked into our cottage...More
First, a summary: Hidden Pond has many positive attributes but doesn't quite live up to what it tries to be. And for us, unfortunately, the positives paled in comparison to a particularly aggravating factor: the sounds of heavy equipment operating in a clearing near our...More

Hard to see how you can navigate Hidden Pond area without a car. You need a ride just to get from the check in to your cottage! (Which they will provide). I would suggest trying Uber, renting a car or taxi.

I'm delighted to hear that you're interested in celebrating such a special occasion at Hidden Pond! The end of July is a great time to visit Maine as you will be able to enjoy everything that the resort and the state itself has to offer.
Hidden Pond is nestled within 60-wooded acres about 10 minutes outside of downtown Kennebunkport and only a half-mile from Goose Rocks Beach.
For the more actively minded, we have complimentary bicycles that you can use to ride around the property or take over to the beach and two pools that you can enjoy. While at the beach you can also rent paddle boards and kayaks! With a quick visit to the lodge, the Front Desk team will be able to provide you with directions to the best hiking trails around.
Downtown Kennebunkport has numerous shops and restaurants where you can easily spend a morning, afternoon, or entire day. In the evenings, the resort offers a complimentary "Supper Shuttle" that can take you into town.
Kennebunkport offers a nice balance of activities as well as places for relaxation. By staying at Hidden Pond you close have access to both. The resort's staff would be happy to help you plan your stay!
