My husband and I stayed at Bufflehead Cove for 4 nights in August 2012 and hope to someday return. The inn is set at the end of a wooded country road but is less than 5 minutes from the center of Kennebunkport. Harriet and her son Erin are gracious and friendly hosts, wanting to do everything possible to ensure their...

This Inn does it right. Our room{Balcony} was so beautiful and fully loaded. Beautiful bedding, flat screen tv, fire place, AC , wifi, spa tub, hand painted decrative walls. Turn down, chocolates, sherry, lots of closets, drawers, vanity area, and the best, glass/screened in porch over looking the river, ducks quacking along. The host, especially Erin, could not have been nicer...

This is a great place. It's a short drive to Dock Square where all the main shopping is, but it's hidden in a wooded area right off the river. It's so relaxing and peaceful. Finding the turn off was a bit tricky the first time. There is a small sign pointing to the inn and you have to make your...

Harriet and her family are welcoming and friendly, and very willing to give guidance about the area. The inn is beautiful inside and out. The breakfasts are substantial and delicious, served outside on the verandah porch overlooking the river. Our room was lovely, decorated and furnished like a private home, with its own private balcony. We would definitely stay here...

Aaron and his mother Harriet were fantastic hosts! They made us feel like we were part of the family as soon as we arrived and were right on with all of their restaurant recomendations. The main house is warm and inviting and the grounds are beautiful. We were on a short honeymoon and could not have asked for a more...

Very friendly and comfortable accommodations with great views and easy access to town. The staff was very helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. This was our first trip to a bed and breakfast, and we expect to be back. The Inn and Kennebunkport provided for a great anniversary weekend get away, highly recommended.

Harriet and Jim and everyone else at Bufflehead Cove are perhaps the best hosts we have ever experienced. The food was top notch, the evening wine and cheese was magnificent, the honey (from their own bees) is delicious and the setting can not be beat. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and romantic. This is THE BEST place to...

It was a long drive from Missouri, but what a wonderful experience! Host was very gracious, accommodations were lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Sitting outside overlooking the river with a cocktail was so relaxing--we WILL definately be back!!!

Warm and friendly accommodations. Beautiful location. We stayed in the Hide-a-way which was roomy and comfortable. We had a private patio and entrance. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and a beautiful view of the cove. Staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start our honeymoon.

Stayed summer 2012 and the reviews of bufflehead are spot on. The property, owners, service and food are all fantastic. Would definitely recommend to others. Our room, the river cottage was immaculate. Homemade blueberry pancake breakfast overlooking the river. Outstanding tech amenities - especially for a b&b! Flat screen TV's, Apple networking products in the room...how thoughtful. We'd definitely go...
