The same family has run this hotel for many years (George and Diane, and now with their son Ryan and wife Colleen) are the salt of the earth. They have time for all your questions and provide patient advice. The views are breathtaking and the breakfast is tasty. We come to Moosehead Lake regularly and would not think of staying...

Friendly service, spectacular view! Simple affordable accomodations. CLean, well decorated rooms. A tub I could soak in. Front deck overlooks the lake. So beautiful. Quiet and removed from town, but an easy 5 minute drive.

We stayed three days. Room is nice. Clean. Mostly well maintained 50s/60s motel with amenities like new TV and fridge/microwave. We stayed in the 2nd floor kind - (#12) - very nice view. However, the best part of that view will be the same for any of the 2nd floor rooms, I think. Only down-side we experienced was swatting mosquitoes....

This place is not fancy, just a 2 level motor hotel with a spectacular view of Moosehead Lake and Kineo Mountain. It is owned by a young couple who take good care of the place. She makes some killer blueberry muffins! Breakfast is simple continental with coffee, cereal, yogurts, and the wonderful muffins. The room was clean, bed comfy, and...

Reat the goods reviews but got although some doubts: sure to be along a busy highway, small rooms, outdated, nice view with no balcony. However: none of this all!!! Absolutely gorgeously situated, along a silent dirt road, not far from Greenville, nice rooms with balcon and view!!! Okay moose, show yourselves, we are ready! Only minor point: airco (from neighbours)...

We had a room on the second floor and it was nice and quiet with a great view. This motel is rustic - you are in northern Maine after all! Having said that - the room was clean with a comfy bed - the towels were nice and soft and there is free wifi. There was a microwave, small refrigerator...

This Memorial weekend trip has been an annual vacation for most of my family. We go up here every year, as my cousins have a place right outside of Greenville. We have stayed at a different place for a few years now until they closed down. Well we found this place and oh how we wish we had known about...

Stayed with my family for one night. Pros: Cute gift shop, TV with extensive channel selection, clean room, private balcony was a nice touch, breakfast was adequate (no hot items, no protein, muffins were a nice treat), WiFi was good but it was trial and error getting on, cot we needed was ready and in our room upon arrival, easy...

Made my reservation with Colleen who was polite/accommodating. Room , on 2nd floor, was clean with lots of towels, coffee in room and Dish TV that allowed me to catch hockey playoffs. Price was very reasonable/less than chains. The views of mountain ranges and Moosehead Lake are excellent. Definitely would stay here again! happy trails

We stayed 2 nights on May10 -11, 2016. The owners (2nd generation) were very friendly and helpful. They are doing some upgrades since taking over from parents in January. Our corner king room (#6) had windows on 2 sides that had fantastic views of the mountains and Moosehead Lake. Our balcony felt very private. We were there before the "season"...
